How is Michigan not ranked no. 1?

Who's going to have a better offense. Best three qb's in the big 10 are gone. Brady Quinn is gone. There four toughest games just became alot easier. They will have the best qb in every game they play this season. They will have the best wr in every game they play this season. Who is going to be able to put up the numbers they are going to be putting up. Michigan is going to the National Championship game. Get used to it.

Other than that, I really like Florida. Tebow is an upgrade at qb to a team that won the national championship last year. I'm not quite up to speed on the SEC yet, but besides Arkansas I can't see another team bringing what they are bringing on Saturdays.

I dont think anyone from the Big 10 will win a N.T. anytime soon. In my opinion the Big 10 is pretty weak. Florida didn't really blow anyone out last year except when they got to match up against the Big 10's best in Ohio State. I really hope the NT is between 2 teams outside of the Big 10 so its not a blow out.

As far as the SEC watch out for LSU, Alabama, and South Carolina. I'm sure the Gators will reload as well; but they lost a ton of talent.

LSU's coach is an idiot. Onthemound#5 qouteded it best when he said he's a genious trapped in a dumbf*%#'s body. As bad as a coach he is he still has amazing talent around him. LSU has 8 returners on defense. Most of there tough games are in Death Valley; including Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina. As far as Bama is concerned; they have 9 back on offense and have a favorable schedule as well. Home games include Arkansas, Georgia, Tenn., LSU. You got Hart, Manningham, and Henne you cannot concoct a bad gameplan. My 5 year old brother could call plays for that trio. Have I mentioned Jake Long yet? Come on man that's easy money. I'm really sick of people throwing the Big 10 under the bus for what happened in the national championship. If you remember correctly, Wisconsin and Penn St. handled Arkansas and Tennessee as underdogs in some pretty good bowl games. I have a hard time believing that Ginn's injury was a non-factor in the outcome of the NC game. Losing 33% of your passing offense is going to be tough on any team. This shows how much OSU leaned on Ginn all year. Its easy to look good when some guy turns 10 yard digs into touchdowns routinely. Tebow is disgustingly sick. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on him for now.

Michigan was 8-4 ATS, 3-4 ATS @ home due to large chalk. They just dont't have the killer instinct to bury anyone. They go into the BIG TEN game plan, rush to the left, rush to the right, rush up the middle, PUNT. LLOYD CARR IS THE WORST. Michigan lets teams hang around for that backdoor cover all the time. They must have some kind of killer instinct if they went 5-0 ATS away from home. Do think that Wisconsin, which went 12-1 last year and returns a boatload of starters, will win the Big 10.

Without Stocco? He was a severely underrated qb. I don't know how they replace this guy. Wisconsin is not winning the Big 10. Did Michigan defense suck at the end of the year or did they face 3 recievers drafted in the first 2 rounds of the 07 NFL Draft and try to cover them with Leon Hall who was severly overrated. As far as Michigan rushing right rushing left....are you serious? Did you not watch Manningham get deep at will before being sidelined by injury? It doesn't sound like you watched many games. Manningham is uncoverable. Double teaming him did not even work. He and Henne have major chemistry. I'm not a Michigan or a Big Ten fan...my allegiance is in College Park....but recognizing talent is easy if you watch the games. You guys can take the Trojans, Louisville, whoever. I am all over Michigan and Florida this season.

Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow??? Reggie Nelson is a huge loss but offense is much harder to replace than defense. BTW I also think Tennessee has got some juice this season. That is if Ainge stays healthy. gl with evertyhing sim I don't come on here to bash. I come on here to share my opinion and learn from others. If you teach me something or are correct when I'm wrong I will give you your due. Those who talked to me last year know that I usually at least have an informed opinion. You don't have to agree but more likely than not Michigan is going to win the big 10 and have an easy run because that conference is way down.

My bad; you are right on paper Mich should win the big 10; and shld have a lagitamate shot at the NT. I was disapointed in the result of the NT last year and am frustrated with the Big 10 in general since they don't even have a conf. champ game. If Mich can figure out how to play D; they could make a run. I would lay off of them for the first few weeks; to see how there D is playing. There D will get tested a little against App. St. who has won back to back D IAA championships; and they will deff. get tested against Oregon. Florida lost a ton of talent. I never said they would win the national title. But not having them ranked #1 right away is a waste of paper. They will have an easy run of it this year. Gambling wise? We will have to see how the lines come out. I'm speaking strictly along the lines of who has the best chance to go undefeated and/or make it to the NC game. USC? Yeah will see if they ever...ever..ever have a good enough pass D to justify their lofty ranking every year. Every time they face an above average qb a shootout ensues. Their are enough in the pac 10 to cause them some trouble this year. I doubt they can go undefeated. In the SEC, forget about it, the defenses faced are too good week in and week out. A qb with an arm and legs is the only way to attack every week. Since noone has that and South Caroina is not bringing back Rice I'm taking Florida. I only bet the big games hard so anythign that happens outside of a top 25 matchup is out of my league. I'm here to capitalize on the big ones. Michigan shouldn't have any big ones on my list. There will be more than a couple in the SEC, but I will probably skip about half of them. Right now I'm just thinking about the possible Nc Games. I like Michigan to face Florida. I predict Tebow blows out a knee trying to stretch a gain. He likes to run a lot and he will expose himself to injury a bunch against some tuff sec D's. If the Gators loose him in the lineup they are gonna be screwed.

GUYS USC IS A FORMIDABLE TEAM AND WILL PROVE IT AGAIN THIS YEAR DEFENSE WINS GAMES AND USC IS TOPS Last year's USC squad proved there was no such thing as a "rebuilding" year, winning 11 games and coming just short of another national championship appearance. They are now expected to reach the title game for the 3rd time in 4 years, as everyone has deemed them the team to beat. We'll find out how good they really are, as they have one of the nation's toughest schedules; they must travel to Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, and California. On offense, they were simply amazing in 2005, and their production dropped off as expected with the loss of two Heisman winners in the backfield. They should be solid once again, as Booty now has a year of experience under his belt, they are stacked at RB, and have an outstanding OL. The one question lies at WR, where they have to replace two 1000-yard receivers in Smith and Jarrett. While there is plenty of talent, there is hardly any experience and it will be near impossible to match last year's numbers. This group should be one of the conference's best as always, but they may not improve much with the key losses at WR. On defense, this group was very tough last year, and should be just flat-out scary. Just about everyone is back, including some potential All-Americans in the front seven. Ellis and Jackson will be a force on the DL, and form one of the nation's best units. The LBs are loaded, and have an outstanding duo in Rivers and Maualuga. The secondary will be tough as they are now a bit more experienced. It's pretty much impossible to find any weaknesses in this group - they didn't have great numbers in pass D last year, but had 3 new starters and had the lead late in almost all of their games. They have the potential to be the nation's top defense, and will be the key in USC making a title run. Overall, this team looks great and is well deserving of their #1 ranking. The offense now has experience in the backfield, and the defense returns just about everyone; they appear to have everything in place for another national championship. Due to this, they will probably be a horrible bet ATS - everyone will be gunning for them, and they face an absolutely brutal schedule which includes some very tough road games. With the amount of hype they're receiving at this point, it'll be almost impossible to find any value in them this year. ||Peace_5.gif' border=0>
