yes you do... i'd hedge about 25-50%.  YOU NEVER PASS UP A GUARUNTEED WIN!!!!  you dont get many opportunites to GUARUNTEE a WIN against VEGAS!!!

bet whatever you'd like on clemson.  i like s. carolina, but just in case...   why not?

I have the same situation.  SC pending for a big parlay.   I am definitely going to hedge.  33% of my potential winnings on Clemson.  23% Clem +3 and 10% Clem ML.  Good Luck.  Nothing like guaranteed money baby!!!

As per the guy asking why would you place a parlay if you weren't going to bet last game I agree but I was just clicking buttons and got lucky.  This is serious money for me right around X'mas so I have to hedge.

Take clemson +4 not on the ml always try to max out your potential winnings. 1600 clemson +4 and you may win both on this thing!

My book has it at -2.5 I guess I'll wait and see if it goes up or maybe buy a point and throw 3k at -3.5

Your words were strong but yes, people don't understand math and expected profit.  For them, tts all about putting those parlay goggles on and seeing a big payout only to hedge it everytime.  But you can't really expect the people to understand the math as they're asking how to hedge instead of just figuring it out themselves.

s.car-3 has held steady for most of the day in LV. a couple of places moved it to -2.5, but quickly moved it back to -3. vegas books have turned into a bunch of whimps. most places won't let up buy a half pt. on -3's & -7's

 

if your book offers you a 1/2pt buy @ an additional 10%, I'd give that some consideration. no need to try and get to "sharp" and bet the ML with the position your in.
