    26-14-1 NFL

    28-19 CFB

FIRST UP: JACKSONVILLE STATE +8 [-20]

They can, and should, win straight up.

For those fixated on the [-20] issue, shop around, [-20], or even less, is normal for some books for buying a half point.

For example, at Pinnacle, which is one of my books, you can buy the half point to make Jax State +8 for [-09].

At Bet Rivers and Unibet you can get Jax State +8 for [-13].

I use [-20] as the "standard" in posting because I always get it for that, or less.

And when I can't get it through one of my books, I turn to my local who I've been with for a long time because he let's me buy a half point for [-20].

I spread my action out over many books because I never want all of my eggs in one basket and risk not being paid or shut down.

So, while I appreciate the "debates" and understand all perspectives, using [-20] is a fair "standard" given my reality.

If you don't like it, too bad.

Just insert your own actual numbers based on the wins-losses and see where you would be based on your numbers.

At the end of the day, all that matters is what YOU make.

So count your money and I will count mine.

And I've been counting it for 20+ years.

I really dont care what anyone else's think about what i do . I have been in this thing for more than 20 years . Have had great seasons and bad seasons . I have 2 years that i am doing 50% accuracy so i am leaning on some of you guys and yes i bought points sometimes cause buyin' points is not a juice thing if you bet to make this a bussines then consider that buyin' points is an investment , if you see it differently then you are just doin' it for fun . For fun is wasting time for me .

God , Family and beer . That's all that matters

When you are an investor and when big money is on the line, you look to hedge and "insure" any way you can.

i agree, i buy half pts also. sometimes these books want you to pay -135 early in the week but if you wait you can usually get for -120  like jax st myself bet early at +7 might add, but one way to look at it about adding more at a risk, is if those who waited and got 8 win by a point i pushed, but then ya hope they do not push at 8....lol

jacksonville state is potentially down to their third string QB in this game, what about that makes you think they can beat WKU Strait up in this game tonight?

I am just not seeing how Jax, who is wearing down and was non-competitive last game, why are they going to be able to keep up with the high powered WKU attack?

and doing it with a 3rd string R-FR QB?

    Until the wallet is full.

Well, bovada was +9 and betonline was +7 this morning so here's hoping it lands 8.  Bovada is still at +8 for 10 cents before you buy a hook somewhere else...

Indeed , you got to protect your investment and if will cost you a litte more , so be it .

Serious question. How many poiints is the starting QB worth at Jacksonville State?

    1 maybe 2?

We saw UTEP go on the road and beat Florida Inter after the line moved from pick to +3 because the "questionable" UTEP starter was ruled out before game time.

I do not believe losing the starter at a G5 school is a significant line move. If you liked Jacksonville State +6.5 with the starter, you shouldn't have any problem taking them +8.5 with the backup. Or vice versa.
