I am kicking myself for passing on them and taking the over. Was gonna bet em both and elected to just play the total. I do like WVU and Oklahoma

It would be difficult to gauge Auburn vs. patsies based on last season’s record, since they played a full SEC schedule. However, make no mistake when it comes to evaluating the Zips. They were 1 – 5 last year and the best team they played was ranked 75 in the country. Among those 5 losses, 4 of them were by more than 30 points. Their defense was a horror show, ranked 123 in the country. Their offense wasn’t much better, ranked 120. Akron needs to choose between the two lousy QB’s that they had last season and their only offensive spark, at running back, was just kicked off of the team for a weapons charge. No other returning running back had more than 7 carries in 2020. In fact, Akron’s best player is a 5’9” Armenian linebacker. Their rushing defense, gave up 6.3 yards per carry last season…and now they have to find a way to stop Auburn???? Auburn’s running back was SEC Freshman of the Year in 2020…his name? Tank Bigsby. Expect a 250 yard game from the Tank on Saturday. News from camp is that Auburn is going to emphasize physicality…that’s bad news for Akron.
Auburn QB Bo Nix is going to get some confidence candy from new head coach Bryan Harsin and new OC Mike Bobo, so expect some easy TD tosses in the second half to pad their lead. Akron gave up 56 points against 3 MAC teams last year. SEC is not MAC. Historically, Akron has done very poorly in these body bag game road openers. One of Auburn’s starting offensive lineman actually played at Akron, so Auburn’s offense will know all of the Akron DL stunts. Looking at this season, Uconn and Akron are about the same. Auburn is ranked #22 and Fresno State is ranked #94. Fresno State beat UCONN by 45. Akron won’t score more than 10 points and Auburn will easily score 50. The math works. Taking the big home favorite here…War Eagle!

I am grateful:
- DraftKings honored my -26.5 Oklahoma bet even after they switched stadiums
- Tulane QB can’t hold onto the football
- Oklahoma has a kicker
the big 12 defenses just suck.

Kentucky gets the late TD and gift cover. The 3 stupid turnovers made it close....ULM is terrible (87 yards of offense). 2-0 for the weekend. OU blowing it....Tulane is legit.

Kentucky, I do all my own research and make all my own decisions. But credit to you for bringing this game to my attention, I would have probably never looked at it, Soo many games out there. Didn't watch it, but we won. Good job

Oklahoma doesn't cover. Their defense wasn't tough enough to slam the door on Tulane when they had them rocking. Tulane's quarterback was terrific and I totally underestimated their offense. Spencer Rattler had the superior team but they were only 3 for 12 on 3rd downs...that's on him. This wasn't a fluke. Oklahoma ran the ball for 3.3 yards per carry and that's not how you put a team to sleep.
So far 2-1 on the week.

Bearcats destroy Miami 49-14. the game went down just as I 'capped it. I love when that happens. 3-1 on the week. (I wish Draftkings had voided my Oklahoma bet lol).

Auburn covers easily over a pathetic Akron, but a Baylor roughing the passer penalty costs me the cover against Texas State.
4-3 on the week. 4-3 YTD 57%
Best of luck to all!
