no, Alabama won

ps.. TX racked up more yards than Bama, even with 5 turnovers...

Bama attempted a whopping 12 passes (one on a boneheaded fake punt) against a team TX backers told us you can't run the ball on.  It's a different game with Colt but, Bama didn't put the ball in the air and still won.

Bama was sleepwalking in the 2nd half until the last few minutes when they had to turn it on they did and dominated. Ran through Texas. If Colt would have played, Bama would have opened it up, it would have been a different ball game on both sides.

Yeah and with those 12 attemps, Texas had 5 sacks.  Would have loved from Alabama to have "opened" it up more.

You know what, tho?  It happens both ways...  I remember being on Minnesota over Pittsburgh earlier in the year in the NFL, and having the Pitt D return an interception not once, but twice within the last few minutes to cover the spread...  Also remember having Kansas City over Jacksonville, where KC scored twice in less than 2 minutes at the end of the game to cover when they were down like 20 points...  Tonight, I was fortunate enough to be on the right side of the luckbox...

in this case, that seems obvious... but that is probably the case in about 80-90% of all sporting events... some injury, or fluke play, usually determines the outcome... guess the art is in getting the 10-20% right as much as possible...
