we win some and lose some. I read these forum post and ppl are at each other's necks about winning and losing. We all been on the wing and losing side. It's the nature of this hobby. Bottomline, we are here to beat the books, not each other.
Funny, those who tail (because they don't have a mind of their own) hates on you for making an effort to cap to help others. If you can't take your lose like a man, find another hobby.
I took Bama and under tonight, overall I'm up. My win percentage is around 70% (68-69%), up over 300 units past 9.5 weeks all posted on covers.
Good game. Congrats to all the winning backers.

sigh....its not about who won this game or who lost. its about the people on here boasting about how confident they were about who was winning tonight. and most of them were bama backers.
there were many people on this forum talking about making their biggest bets of their lives on bama and taking pride in their defense with the under bets as well.
thinking about putting the most money on a bet on a game that couldve gone either way is possibly the most idiotic gambling crap you could ever do.
learn to be humble, learn to money manage, learn to stop being so confident about a team that actually lost.
but this is just what i see from the outside. this will continue to happen no matter what because people will always be confident about their amazing picks and their eventual path to being a tout that sells their stupid picks.
whoever bet big on bama tonight and boasted about it are not the people that need to realize its a marathon and not a race.
stop giving vegas your hard earned goddamn money you idiots. christ.

As I've mentioned in another post. Less than 1% makes it in this hobby in the long run. For those boasting, enjoy your winnings, manage your bank roll and save your energy for the next game. I'm very sure it doesn't end after today.

Everybody boasts cashinwong; it's human nature. Totally agree with your original post in here though. To further that, you have a few types of people in this forum. You have the type who just post their plays and that's it. They are short and to the point. No issues with those people at all. Then you have the ones who like to formulate writeups and break things down. For me, these are the ones who I respect the most. If someone is going to take time out of their day and write things up, explaining the reasoning behind their plays, I can never fault someone for that going forward. I found myself doing that in the past yet I realized, these writeups, the analysis, it's why we are all here. So i stopped criticizing. Who was I? Then lastly, you have the type, and believe me covers is filled with this breed, that simply go from thread to thread looking for picks. They don't cap, they have no idea what they are doing and they live off of the good cappers. When they win, it's a beautiful life for them but when they lose, they are the ones pointing the finger at the same ones who put money in their pockets. With those types of people in here, you also get the occasional "contributor" who has hidden intentions and simply comes and goes to try and brainwash users into picking the wrong side. I have gotten to the point where I can spot these guys a mile away.Unfortunately, the leaches and the phonies are what make up the majority of covers. The finger pointers and fakes.
Cash, I came across a few of these types in the past week and I can't help myself but get annoyed. I'm not one to boast, although I did last nite because some of the stuff I was getting back in return was simply uncalled for. My writeup, although long with the rest of my rebuttles, was spot on. As the type who likes to offer a writeup usually, getting criticized for ONE play by a few phonys in this covers forum, it did not sit well with me. Ones with no track record at all, calling me out like some have done with you on here. After the last few weeks I've had (I don't post my record like you but it's all there in the history), i was surprised by the move.
I chimed in here because I urge you to keep doing your thing. I respect all your plays and all your insight so thanks for what you contribute brotha. Looking forward to this weekend. Lots of money to be made but like you said, it's all about discipline. Enjoy your day amigo.

Cashinwong you are easily one of the best cappers on this site and the overwhelming majority of people here greatly appreciate the work that you put in. Ignore losers that tail you and then whinge when you get one wrong.

Thx everyone. I'm not bothered by losers. Losers blame and hate on others. Winners "act like they been there" and always stride to move forward.
BP,
I hobby on NFL, ncaaf, MLB (playoffs only, not a sport I enjoy tracking. 80? win documented on covers , but only small sample size, as this past season was my first time dipping into.mlb. Check my "WS post", I predicted the world series exact to a Tee with all prop bets). NBA (my toughest sport. Lines are tight and games are volatile. 42?. Undocumented). Ncaab (for some weird reason, its my most successful. 72? only 1 session).
Each season is different. Ive only been keeping personal record for fun past 3 years. Past 2 seasons, I was 70? ncaaf and 58? NFL, but this year it flipped. I don't let past success get to me. As we know, this is a unforgiving hobby. You can be an 80? capper for 3 years straight. 1 bad year can ruin you.
I'm going to enjoy my winnings and take the family abroad for a month long vacation. I won't be active with ncaab this year, due to time difference abroad. Need to spoil the wife from time to time, so she allows me to continue in this hobby. Lol. Kinda like paying taxes. It's either to the government or the wife.

Just checked mlb was 100%. Check post dated 11/3 "Game 7 WS" and 10/29 "WS Outcome". I'm very sure I won't be able to do again. But it feels great knowing you were so on point. Like a perfect golf swing. Good memories.
