Yeah LSU is the best team. This just felt like a game where Clemson got a little bit lucky and won. They&#x27;re a great team, and deserved to win this game, and these are two evenly matched teams. It just looked like a game where OSU played better, and clemson got a few lucky breaks when it mattered and won the game. I think OSU would&#x27;ve scored on that last possession if not for the qb/receiver mis-communication.

Sometimes the better team does not win....Dobbins dropping 2 td passes, which would have put them up 20&#x2B;...then the targeting call...Personal foul roughing the kicker...overturned returned TD.......

OSU went up 16-0, and from that point on they got beaten 29-7. that&#x27;s an behind kicking. there was nothing "better" about Ohio State tonight, especially not when you end it with a pick in the endzone.

OSU did have the lead in the game, let&#x27;s not forget that that? And forget the intangibles you mentioned. The difference in this game, Clemson "D" held OSU to 9 points in 3 red zone trips. EZ as that! Clemson won this game OSU didn&#x27;t lose it........

&#xA; &#xA;Clemson D was the not the reason why they were held to 9 points...Dobbins dropped a wide open screen pass that would have been a TD from the 10 yard line...Earlier he for some reason reached the ball when he was pas the goal line and the ball hit the ground..he was wide open.......Clemson gave up 516 Yards....

I agree. If you only pay attention to stats, and that&#x27;s the only stat you use as your criteria, then clemson won that game as opposed to osu losing it. Here&#x27;s another stat for you: Jameis Winston, Jared Goff, Dak Prescott, and Philip Rivers lead the nfl in passing yards.

Correct. The question is why did it happen. It wasn&#x27;t because the defender made a great play on the ball or because he read the quarterback and jumped the route. It was because the ball was thrown at the exact moment the receiver broke the route (lucky for clemson), which is kind of my point.

The game was played......one team won, the other lost. At least they got a chance, unlike teams that didn&#x27;t get a shot. Picking Oklahoma to play was a joke.

OSU had two TDs taken off the board. There was a phantom targeting call that I’m still confused about that kept a drive going. That’s like a turnover. That’s a huge momentum swing. You go from getting the ball back to actually having to play a new set of downs. This happened multiple times. The roughing the kicker was somewhat legitimate, but could be left up for interpretation. However, the catch, fumble and TD was a complete robbery.

If OSU received the assistance that Clemson did tonight, then they win by 4 TDS. Period. OSU got completely cheated.

Guys, I was born and raised in Ohio and yes this one stings...but honestly we have NO excuse. We should have had 24 points well BEFORE the targeting call. And defensively we never really played like a solid defense. Yes, we stopped them on first and second down, but gave up HUGE chunks of yardage when it mattered most and lastly look at how many times they were given a first down by DUMB penalties.
