Word out of pre season Cook will be QB and Hebener WR
I would say with Hebener at 25tds 2500 total yards at QB 2015 cook must be doing something.
so not much film of cook or KSU with cook at QB for Stanford to watch.
Give Snyder this much time to prepare for a game, they are usually competitive. he will have some formations sets stanford hasn't seen.
K state historically tough on road open seasons vs tough teams. pull up 2015 schedule for k state... played tough teams close on road. 2015 stanford first 4 games with hogan... lost at Northwestern 19 to 9...Won home vs UCF 31 to 7... UCF went 0 and 13 last year. beat USC by 10...USC .500 team improving last yar... game 4 beat oregon state by 20... oregon st had 2 wins last year.
I think with seniors and a a lot of returning offense and snyder time to game plan and historically playing well on road start season vs tough teams... and Stanford replacing hogan... i think cards win but grind it out 2nd half to close game out like they did often 2015 on teams. 10 to 14 pt win... tempting to buy points and get 17.5 ksu...
thoughts?

OP... Is the first couple sentences a joke? I sure hope so.
Jesse Ertz will be the starting QB and its not even close between him and the second string. The best QB on the roster (word is the best QB Snyder has had in Synder 2.0) will be redshirting.
The defense will be greatly improved.. The wont be a complete embarrassment like last season.
Only ???? offensive line. Starting two freshman on Ertz's backside.
The easy pick would be Stanford minus the points... Not sure how hostile it will be with the game on a Friday night holiday weekend in the bay area and students wont be back yet.
Lots of better plays this week IMO
