*** Kansas State vs. UCLA In-Game Thread ***

Hey guys,

Welcome to the evening segment. I am feeling the motivation and I feel that Kansas State will be the side here to wager on.

I've actually taken a 10 Point Teaser to play both games tonight. Here's what i am on :

Kansas State +9
Over 51 total points.
Washington Huskies +3

Good luck to you all, should be decent games to watch tonight and enjoy.

Hundley will give Kansas state fits in his final college game... Granted the Bruins show up and come to play

I'm not impressed vwith UCLA defense. I do think this is a higher scoring affair though. I think Kansas State +9 will be adequately covered here.

He is an average QB though. Caught some lightening early in season but faded. Dontcknow why he'd be motivated to show up and perform stellar against K State?

Snyders boys have beaten Texas El Paso.....Oklahoma......Texas....West Virginia....all of which have gotten plastered in there bowl games... Oh yea and Baylor too....should be a shoot out I agree there but if the Bruins come focused they'll wear out k state in the 4 th good luck with your play

In my opinion the pac 12 was by far a tougher conference this year compared to the big 12....

Game will not be a shoot out. Kstate with methodical drives to limit UCLA's possessions and frustrate Hundley all night. Kstate gets it done here

9 out of 12 k states games have ended up with 58 or more points......

5 out of 6 teams in the pac 12 south finished the season ranked.... Oh yea Oregon plays in the north

And THIS is how KSU will win, if they do indeed do it.  UCLA's is not an offense that can sit around and watch.  Their defense doesn't have the toughness to stay on the field over and over again.

Fun tidbit:  Colorado took UCLA to 2 OT's.  CU stank.  How does that happen?  CU ranks two spots ahead of KSU in TOP.  Not all teams need to take advantage of TOP, and some can't.  KSU excels at it.

Stanford owned clock and UCLA had no shot.

It all matters little.  Who wants to win this game, and who practiced well this week?  Who shook off the rust, and who gives a f*ck?

This is what it's all about. Motivation in these games where no championship opportunity is on the line.

Coaching matters in these games, meaning, as well as tactic s there's also the coach ability to get their players ready and excited to play.

I give the edge to Kansas State there.

Me too- over the course of a career.  But Snyder's bowl record is a big turd.

Although I most likely will be backing the Bruins I can't wait to watch Lockett play for k state... Saw him against Baylor and some of those catches he snagged left me scratching my head... Does he have a legitimate shot to play at the next lever....maybe a Ty Hilton type?? What do you think ksuwins ??
