Is this a fair line?
Is it a case of Vegas knowing that the public LOVES OU.
14 points on the road within the Conference against a GOOD team...???
Something seems fishy...
14 seems a hell of a lot closer than -1...assuming the standard that homefield is 3 points in each direction, you honestly believe OU is only 2 points better than KSU? Because of what? The fact that the slept on TTU and lost? Their talent is still the same, their ability is still the same, if anything, now they're woken the fuck up. I like KSU +14 but -1 is just ridiculous.
To your actual point of the thread...this line reminds me of last weekend's LSU line. 22 seemed like a sure thing to most, and didn't see too many LSU -22's out there. But Auburn couldn't move the ball nearly well enough to keep it close. I've only seen KSU once, last week. I guess the question is do you think KSU can keep the scoring pace they'll need to. Whether you think its a fishy line is a whole other issue altogether.

11th Nationally in turnover margin and you just think since the gooners are coming to town ksu will just implode....Call me a homer if you want,
K-State covers :
Two words: Bill Snyder. And two more: Turnover margin.

had OU somehow scored one more td against tech and still be ranked the #3 team in the country, would it still be fishy...
saturday afternoon will show case the true NC contender (OU) and expose the fraud (KSU)...
Snyder is coach of the year. KSU is a great story, but come on, dig a little deeper...if both these teams play close to their potential, who wins???
that's right, OU, by a mile...however, OU may have some chemistry issues, that will prevent a "full potential" type game. in that case KSU could cover and maybe win...I just don't see it...
in my opinion, the public is on KSU at +13-14...we'll see...

the difference between this game with KSU versus Tech and Kansas...OU will be awake from the getgo...and won't stop scoring until well until the 4th...
the KSU smartguy approach would work had OU soundly defeated Tech and Kansas....it won't work this week...

do you think that is OU's only motivations..
Let's see
they win out
Big XII Championship
Fiesta Bowl Birth
Potential Top 5 finish
Its not likely, but if the planets allign, and there are a lot of one loss teams (like if every BCS Conference program loses at least 1 game, then they could still play for a NC. this is not likely at all, but you never know...yes, OU was a 29 point favorite at home against Tech, but the only thing that will be considered by the pc's and the voters in the final bowl would be a 3 point loss to Tech...
I'd say that is something to play for...
KSU has had a great season...by 7pm CST on Saturday, reality will set in ...
