Its not likely, but if the planets allign, and there are a lot of one loss teams (like if every BCS Conference program loses at least 1 game, then they could still play for a NC. this is not likely at all, but you never know...yes, OU was a 29 point favorite at home against Tech, but the only thing that will be considered by the pc's and the voters in the final bowl would be a 3 point loss to Tech...
I'd say that is something to play for...
KSU has had a great season...by 7pm CST on Saturday, reality will set in ...
I agree Longhorn Hoosier...
There is still ALOT to play for....Anyone who watched the OU/Tech game knows that OU played asleep for the first half and damn near pulled it out in the second half..call it horse shoes and hand grenades if you want but this teams season is not over and they still can win the Big12 and make it to a BCS bowl.
I think Vegas is BEGGING "Joe Public" to jump all over the Wildcats.

Cant say that your wrong about coming out "hungry"...but, no one knows how a team that just had its bubble burst the week before comes out.. Sooners COULD come out and lay another egg....
BUT, apparently Vegas seems to think that they are going to come out firing on all pistons..Otherwise it would -2 or +2...etc
Just my opinion but Good Luck anyway

You really think these kids care THAT much about a Big 12 Championship and ANOTHER Fiesta Bowl appearance that they will probably lose AGAIN?
I'm TELLING you guys... there's no way OU comes out "hungry," much better shot they come out disappointed and undisciplined.
14 points on the road after having every last ounce of air taken out of your tires the week before...
KSU
Again if your main point is OU's motivation then you WILL BE disappointed, this first loss happens EVERY YEAR and they always rebound.
OU's weakness is its secondary and on top of that their starter Flemming will be out (just like he was against T Tech) and the guy that replaced him (Gabe Lynn) was ABUSED.
Unlike T Tech, K State is not known for their passing attack so they will have to adjust their gameplan here and make OU pay in the air and if they can't do that they're fried.
This will most likely be a no play for me, but if you think the motivation won't be there then you're kidding yourself.

Stoops coached teams have a history of coming out playing well the next week when faced with adversity. They have very seldom ever thrown in two clunkers in a row. I think their offense comes out very sharp for this game. They've still got a few defensive injuries to contend with. So I lean to the over 58 for this game.

I agree. Stoops doesn't typically let his team slump after losses. Since 2005 they are 16-0 SU and 12-3-1 ATS after SU losses. This includes covering LARGE lines home or away against good teams and poor teams.
Oklahoma -13.5 is the bet here.
