that's horseshit... there is no way in hell Texas wins this game by more than 3 or 4 points... never!  they could play this game 10 times and Texas would never do better than squeaking out a win...

Vegas knows better than to make a National Championship game a lock.  A lock is a meaningless game like the Jets pounding the Bengals last weekend.  I could see this game going any number of ways.  Maybe McElroy chokes and Texas gets a big win, who knows. I'm guessing my money will be on Bama.  I'm tempted to take the points no doubt. 

Either way, this is far from a "lock" far from a "huge play" and far from "Play of the Year, Decade, Century, Millenium, etc." It's gonna be a battle and I hope to be on the right side. TBD

What worries me is that threads like these get people to play a side and then Vegas goes on to rig the game against the majority money.

Win, Lose, or Draw, anybody that listen's to this has to ask him or her self,  If this is true.......then..........why......???

A)   a vegas sports book..... what......   ticket writer, asst. manager,  manger, director or whatever with this inside info is still working  If this guy is so good why work??

B)  dropping names, syndicates, organizations to make one's image look better.........Did we forget the Dana White...UFC...making large wagers at the maloff brothers casino debacle......

C)  endorsing absoulte poor money management principles...............ie   bet the farm.........

D)  endorsing biggest game ever, lock of the century

E)  not taking responsability for the play, being able to bail out and blame others if it loses.

could go on............. hope you all catch the drift......not saying texas is not the play but to play on texas because this guy with this info say's so..........

by the way for some new posters and players, a lot time the so called sharps and syndicate's bet lines early in hopes of moving the line they think it will go along with the public money so they can come back later and take some back or go for middle's and scalps,  or in this case hoping to take 4 and lay 2.5 or 3 which are key football numbers to side and or middle games.......................

Guys, this game won't be decided by Vegas.  It'll be decided in the trenches wherein Tejas will summarily get their ass whooped!!!

Texas got exposed not only once, but twice with Oklahoma and Nebraska.  I agree with Jimmydafreak, this game (like every other) will be decided in the trenches.  Now, you gotta give it up, both sides have stout lines, but i feel Bama has to sound ground game to push the field position to thier side.

I will briefly repeat what I have said many times before.  Texas WILL NOT score more than 10 points in this game.  Texas has no running game.  Their receivers won't get any seperation from the Bama's secondary, and Bama's front 7 will destroy Colt McCoy.  So if you think Tejas can cover the spread scoring 10 or less points, then feel free to bet away!!!

you also said don't bet against the SEC this year (the ridiculous 10 page thread about it), which has been a very profitable venture.  haha.
