I will briefly repeat what I have said many times before. Texas WILL NOT score more than 10 points in this game. Texas has no running game. Their receivers won't get any seperation from the Bama's secondary, and Bama's front 7 will destroy Colt McCoy. So if you think Tejas can cover the spread scoring 10 or less points, then feel free to bet away!!!
Don't forget about Special Teams and Turnovers

2-5?
believe it was 3-2-1 actually with TX to go.
Cal = loss
Huskers over = loss
Independence bowl over = push
Rose bowl under = win
TTech = win
S. Florida = win

Everyone said I was absurd when I predicted that Florida wouldn't score more than 14 points in the SECCG too. Everyone also said that my prediction that Bama would not only beat Florida, but they would beat them convincingly was absurd. Everyone also said it was absurd when I predicted that Bama would beat Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn convincingly last season. Evidently, I'm full of absurd predictions. The funny thing is that my absurd predictions are usually right on the money.
Personally I don't think Texas will even score 10, but I will stand by my prediction that they won't score more than 10 offensive points.
I understand that most people walk around with this false notion that Texas has such a great offense, but any offense that is one-dimensional (as UT's offense clearly is), is NOT a great offense. Against teams that are incapable of defending the pass, they might look like the greatest offense in the world. But against the teams that can defend the pass, not so much.
So where is UT's offense so great? Their O-line is average at best. Their WRers are very small and no better than average. They do, however, have a very good QB, and maybe even a great QB. But it takes a lot more than a great QB to equal a great offense, and it'll take a whole lot more than that to score on Bama's defense.
Historically the SEC performs very well in out-of-conference match-ups, and betting against them ordinarily is a money losing proposition. I can regurgitate all the numbers for you, but it would serve no purpose at this point. This year has clearly been the exception. Even some of the covers the SEC did get were not very impressive (See LSU). But I don't think many would argue that not only are Bama and Florida the class of the SEC, they are clearly the best two teams in the country. Florida held up their end of the bargin in the Sugar Bowl, and tomorrow night Bama will hold up theirs.
The bottom line is that no amount of supplication on behalf of Texas will rescue them from the beat-down that awaits them tomorrow night in the Rose Bowl.

you also said don't bet against the SEC this year (the ridiculous 10 page thread about it), which has been a very profitable venture. haha.
btw, hope McClain is 100% by gametime. don't want any excuses. good luck Jimmy----cheers to an injury free, good game.
Cheers brotha!!!

Please don't make it any worse for Texas than it already is!!!

let me ask you something, CJack... since you have pretty much dodged all of my questions on this thread so far...
you are claiming this is their biggest game ever (for Hilton group or whatever)... their lock of the century!
if this is such a great pick, then CLEARLY they must think Texas is going to win the game SU, in a cakewalk... correct?
that's horseshit... there is no way in hell Texas wins this game by more than 3 or 4 points... never! they could play this game 10 times and Texas would never do better than squeaking out a win...
so this is bullshit! there is no way the biggest bettors in the world are all over Texas... it is complete horseshit!

damn straight... i'll take me and the Freak against your supposed collection of top handicappers any day of the week!
i will say it again for the 1000th time on this thread... i don't care if the top 100 of the elite of college football's all-time greatest handicappers (dead and alive) all consider Texas to be the single greatest lock in the history of sports...
THEY ARE WRONG!
Bama is the right side...

why is that absurd? the absolute most Texas will score is 17... that would represent an offensive explosion of apocalyptic proportions...
what have they done against any remotely respectable defense this year that would suggest they are a good bet to top 10 points?
answer: NOTHING! not one thing, against even one team...
Texas is a fucking joke!

bullshit! those guys aren't that stupid...
i sure hope they are telling you to say these things, because if not, you are probably in some serious danger... those guys have enough money to erase you without anyone ever batting an eye...
again... there is no way in HELL Fezzik or Walters think Texas should be favored in this game... they aren't stupid, and you would have to be stupid to think that...

first of all, that thread was 10 pages because a lot of people know the Freak, respect his opinion, and entered into the discussion...
second of all, the SEC is 4-5 ATS in bowl games... if you have bet against them to this point it has hardly been a "very profitable venture"... you're barely ahead, and you need Texas to cover in order to not lose money on it...
