Where is the offense going to come from to give Bama a scare?? Their running game?? Don't think so... Their passing game?? Possibly but I will take the Tide's defense against the LSU passing game anyday of the week.. You see where the Tide pulls away from LSU is the running game. LSU will have no answer for it at all in this game... The would not even stop UF's running game up the middle and everyone watching the game knew that is what they was going to do.. It is all about executing and I just think Bama executes better in this game...If you think LSU has nothing to lose your are crazy... This game pretty much decides who goes to the SEC championship.. LSU has just as much to lose as Bama does...The Madhatter... Sorry but that just makes me laugh... He has done the least with more talent than any team in the conferance with UGA coming in a close 2nd...

I think turnovers will decide this game.  I see a tight game decided by critical loss of possessions.  We all know about the refs at bama right!

Good luck Saturday I expect Bama to win in a close game, but truly hope that you will have the opportunity to eat crow.

koko, i thinkyou are failing to realize that against any good defense you have face this year, Bama has struggled to put up points...SC and UT, and Ole Miss....like i said earlier, maybe not stat wise, but i feel that LSU will be the best D yall have faced thus far

Neither team has an offense to write home about, so I would be looking at the total in this game.  LSU has owned 'Bama the last 4 times they have played in 'Bama.  I look for a low scoring game.  I think 'Bama wins, but I sure would not wager on it.

That may very well be true but I would take the Bama running game against the LSU defense before I would take the LSU passing game vs the Bama defense.. LSU will have no running game here...The only way LSU covers this is if they run on Bama's defense... If not this game is a blowout IMO....That is what I am putting my faith in and where I see an angle here.... McElroy will not be asked to win this game but once the running game gets going you will see a lot of down field passing much like in the VT game....I am not trying to get people to follow my pick and I am the 1st to admit I am a homer but I have not this season had a writeup on a Bama game and do not promote people to bet on them... I am just giving my perspective, from someone that follows it very closely....I have however bet on them 4 total times... VT, Florida International, Ole Miss, and the Under in the UT game...

It is true LSU has owned Bama in T-town but take into account since Nick Saban went to LSU in 2000 they have been a good program while Bama was on probation until 2006 and did not get over that until last year.... Saban's 1st year was in 2007 where he took the national champioins LSU to the wire in a great game with 3 and 4 start athletes playing against a team that he recruited for the most part with 4 and 5 star athletes.. 20 of 22 starters on that LSU team was Nick Saban recruits and I think we can all agree he is in the top 3 in the recruiting catagory....

I have not decided yet.... I have not went to many games this year other than Virginia Tech and Tennessee and will more than likely be out of town for Thanksgiving stuff....  Pisses me off that it is on a Friday for the next 2 years, I hate CBS and can not wait until the SEC gets off their shitty broadcast...

oh anf you refer to Bama being able to run the ball. well Auburn has a better run game and we saw how LSU shut that down...

on a side not: Ingram is a good RB, but Tate has better stats and is just as hard of a runner after watching more Bama and Auburn games than any other 2 teams this season. it sad that Tate is getting all this heisman talk just because he is playing for the dynasty that is Alabama. Tate is a highly undervalued RB and is 3rd in the nation in rushing behind the Fresno kid and the kid from Marshall.

If Ingram goes, Tate should already be there

i know brother it really sucks, depending on how the seasons play out, i may sell my ticket to make about $200....if it were on Saturday, i would never do this, but the day after Thanksgiving? come on network...thats idiotic, especially becasue the univeristy has a week off for thanksgiving, including the Friday the game is on

So you are telling me AU has a better run game than UA?? 

About Tate all you have to do is look at the defenses he has faced..


Defenses Ingram has faced and keep in mind Ingram did not play but 18 plays in the 2 games after the VT game


Also look at their carries... Tate has a 5.5 average while Ingram has a 6.6 average per carry.... I think Tate is a hell of a runner but Bama has faced many more tough defenses than AU has faced and Ingram hardly played against the 2 gimme games so he put up all those number against VT and against 5 SEC defensies....

I know it I can feel it coming...

No I do not think he would be getting the talk right now because the level of compentition he would be facing would be far less....I think that is one of the biggest things people look at other than is he on a winning team... I think Tate could be heisman material but AU is just not there yet in terms of wins/loses and he has yet to face more than 3 good defenses.. But I would take Tate on my team any day of the week, just not over Ingram or Trent Richardson...

I have to agree with you Alabama has done some special things
this year and without a doubt this is the best Bama team
I have ever seen... To me the question is not whether or not they beat
LSU, its by how much, and the only other real question is

WIll they beat FLORIDA? The loss of Hightower was Huge.

That is an interesting point that I have thought about just have not mentioned.... Nowing how Saban coaches and listening to him in his pressers I do not think he is bringing that to the players attention but you know that will affect how they play... Right now they are out of the media spot light... No one is talking about them right now on ESPN or anywhere else other than locally... All you hear now is Oregon, Texas, Iowa, Florida... Up until the UT games people was in love with Bama, now they have taken a back seat and even game day will not be at this game which is crazy to me because this is the biggest game this week and one of the top games of the year....

Gold_Rush- You are not lying about how big of a loss that was with Hightower.. Luckly for Bama they have a stock pile of 4 and 5 star LB's to take his place but he was a special part of that defense and the #2 leader behind Rolo..

I think they may try to use that angle to get fired up, but its really nothing. Whether bama is 1, 2, or 3 in the BCS is irrelevant. It all comes down to the SEC Title game.

it does baffle me how the number 3 team vs the number 9 team wont be gameday, but oh well.

Bama not getting a lot of love from the media right now could be a good thing for them

I agree it does not matter but this team looks for stuff like that and are offended by stuff like this....Like I said Saban will not make this a coaching angle for this game but I just think the players will play this game like a so called "Statement Game"....I do not take this into account when looking at games and that is why I did not mention it until someone brought it up but I do think it helps in a situation like this...
