i have LSU finishing 9-3 in the reg season, and that's what this UNDER 10.5 is for
even if they exceed my expectations and go 10-2, i still win the wager

lsu will go 11-1 or 12-0...Mettenberger will be a beast and be the difference for LSU...I think he will defer his frat boy philandering until he leaves BR for NFL...

dolyman, i do really believe what i wrote. first year qb in the sec? good luck with that. 3 losses is extremely reasonable.
watch auburn and florida both beat them and i have my wager won by the 1st wk of October

gridiron I just don't see it. Both offensive and defensive lines will dominate and in the SEC that is where these games are won...Their QB play cannot possibly be worse than it was last year...Nope No Way No How. Anything can happen but I see no value what so ever in that play.

Dude, I'm not trying to bust your balls here, but LSU @ Auburn is one of the biggest mismatches of the entire season in the SEC. Auburn is a team in complete disarray. Just today another one of their top recruits (Johnathan Rose) was kicked off of the team. This is pretty much a weekly occurrence at Auburn.
Auburn, who doesn't have a SEC caliber QB on the roster, and doesn't have the personel to run a pro-style offense, has virtually no shot of scoring a single point against LSU's defense. A victory for Auburn in this game will be to lose by less than 30 points.
You may very well win your under 10.5 wins bet, and I for one hope you do (because that will pretty much put Alabama in the national championship game), but LSU is NOT losing to Auburn. LSU beat Auburn by 5 TDs last season, and it could very well be an even worse beatdown this season. Regardless, this game has zero chance of being competitive.
The Florida game in the Swamp, on the other hand, could very well be competitive. This is probably the second toughest game on LSU's schedule.

As bookieassassin eluded to, just because a team loses starters doesn't mean that the next guys up can't be as good or better than the players who they are replacing.
For instance LSU lost 2 guys that were drafted very early in the NFL draft. Morris Claiborne will be missed but he was a 3* recruit out of HS that developed into a very good player that was more than able to take up the slack of losing Patrick Peterson. Claiborne has three 4* recruits that will be vying to replace him and all will see signifigant playing time. Among Tharold Simon, Jalen Collins, and David Jenkins I wouldn't be surprised if one of them were also a first round NFL draft pick in the future.
As for replacing 2* recruit S Brandon Taylor, it will be a battle between 3* Micah Eugene and 5* Craig Loston. If Loston can stay healthy he could be an all SEC candidate.
I fully realize that just because a recruit is 5 or 4 star rated doesn't guarantee any success at all as even the #1 rated recruit in the nation can be a bust (see Bryce Brown), but LSU is definitely positioned well to continue to be a dominating force on the college football scene.

I do not bet futures at negative odds. I will place my bet at the appropriate time should the situation call for it.
Anyone who has been around this board for any length of time knows that I am a lifelong Alabama fan and a season ticket holder. Those same people also know that does not effect my opinions or my bets in anyway shape or form. I will bet for and against either Alabama or Auburn anytime I believe that is the right side.
I faded Alabama twice last season; Arkansas (Loss) and Mississippi State (Win). I also placed a significant wager on Auburn in the Chik-fil-A Bowl (Win), and I Max Bet Auburn when they played Oregon for the national championship game.
I pretty much eat, sleep and breathe SEC football 365 days a year, and I derive a significant portion of my annual income from wager on college football. I cannot afford to be wrong. I have way too much money riding on it.
That said, I can tell you without hesitation that the Auburn football program is a complete train wreck right now, and I will be fading them in 4 of their first 5 games, and maybe all 5.
While Auburn has a chance to be respectable on defense, their prospects on offense are grim. They will be instituting an entirely new offensive system that doesn't fit their personnel. It appears they will start a running QB (who was recruited to fit Gus Malzahn's system) who can't throw and will be asked to run a pro-style offense. This guy is Jordan Jefferson without any talent around him. They have a 170 lbs brusier at running back. Their best skill position players are the TE and WR. The only problem is they have no one to throw them the ball. Their next best offensive player is the center Reese Dismukes. Their best running back is actually Corey Grant who is an Alabama reject. Grant originally committed to Alabama out of high school, but wasn't good enough to play, so he transferred.
Auburn looks destined to start the season 1 & 4, and it's doubtful they'll be able to win 5 of their last 7 to become bowl eligible. They would have to sweep Mississippi, Vandy and Texas A&M to have a shot. My guess is they'll probably lose at least one of those. The high water mark for this team is 6 & 6.
If they don't become bowl eligible, my guess is that Chizik will be gone.

are you people fuckin dumb, why do you keep saying oh lsu wont win bcs title, because they have a new qb. didnt the last 3 fuckin teams to win the bcs title all from the sec, had first year starting qbs, cam newton , bama qb last year, etc,
dont you remember who lsu qb was last year?????????/ the new kid is better than fuckin jordan jefferson if you dont think so you are retarded i hear this kid has a cannon arm, and LSU HAS ONE OF THE BEST RB COMBOS IN THE COUNTRY? so not only do teams have to worry about the rush game of lsu this year, they have to worry about a pocket passing qb with a hell of an arm.

and surely the new lsu qb, is better than bama qb mccarron, bama would of lost the bcs title to lsu last year, if bama defense was not good, i bet bama that game and on futures, and my buddy did too and we kept saying to each other the bama qb was shit, if it was not for defense in that game, or lsu having a better qb, lsu could of won that game, bama didnt get very good qb play in thte bcs title game last year
lsu has one of the best o lines in the country this year
if yo want defense team to make bcs title game, maybe florida st, their schedule is weak if they get by clemson and va tech i think they go 12-0, the rest of their schedule is a joke
id love to see lsu vs florida st for the bcs title, id win big money then id get greedy and pound the shit out of lsu, cause fsu would get crushed.
IS HARD TO BELIEVE NO SEC TEAM IN BCS TITLE, UNLESS FSU AND USC BOTH GO UNBEATEN OR OKLAHOMA, AND LSU 1 LOSS MIGHT STILL LEAPFROG THOSE TEAMS OR BAMA, but i dont think bama wins 2 in a row and 3 in 4 years
