You may be right in the short run. LSU may become the new Alabama. But in the long run over the next decade I believe we'll see a gradual decline in SEC strength as the power in college football shifts back to the west coast.

It's talent that wins football games. Saban won because he was able to recruit the best players from all over the country. Look at where Bryce Young is from, and Jayden Daniels for that matter, and Tua, and on and on. The days of Saban and other SEC schools being able to lure players out of states like California and Hawai'i to come to the south to play football will soon be over. Saban knows this. You can see it in his face. This is gonna be the long term trend in college football.

I agree, I think LSU does very well for the near future. I still think the Portal (free agency) is changing the college football landscape. And if used right could end up (sorta) leveling the playing field in college football. 

Hey brother! Hope all is well! I concur with LSU, but a couple things that are just starting to unfold will definitely change things (for the worse imo).....the portal and NIL....both in their infancy....but I'm just not sure there will be super teams like Bama and Burrows LSU squad....you are basically now getting hired guns who are there for the money and not with their hearts....pretty much exactly what happened to A&M this year is a blueprint of what not to do.....

Kelly has been expert at getting out of dodge just before he wears out his welcome. Time and time again he has thrown his players under the bus in post game interviews after a loss. He has blamed them, their "execution", and rarely have I seen his first reaction be to take responsibility himself. We have seen him embarrass players on the sidelines, chew them out in front of the cameras and make them look bad. To me, he is the type of person who always blames someone else for his own shortcomings and I don't see him ever staying anywhere long enough to build a dynasty.

LSU definetely trednding in the right direction but totally disagree with the Kirby comment.  Yes i am a UGA alumni and have been following

the program for over 35 years.  Kirby is a great coach just look what he has done since being that. I know your comment was a in game coach,, if you dont think he gets fired up and is all in the game hands on then that is fine.  Gonna be interesting to see what NIL and transfer portal does to all of these programs.  I do agree that it seems Saban is sliding some but.... Saban is still Saban.
