Not saying Bama won't win............. But just be aware that they only have ONE advantage in this game........... Unfortunately, it may be too big for LSU to overcome.
Bama's favored by a reason.
But don't think for one second, that Bama is an auto play here. If "manages" that OL and Trent......... LSU rolls.

Did I see something about Kuandidijo out?......... Isn't that Fluker's backup?
He is the backup for Jones, but Alfred Mculough is backing him up, is legit, and is also backing up the rest of the line. We don't have any depth issues...

Height isn't necessarily a positive on OL by the way.
The point I am trying to make, is he is a fucking beats, and contributes to the obvious success of our running game, thus far. You stated that LSU has an advantage on the edges, and I am simply pointing out that they don't. If anything the matchup is even, and it will be a battle throughout the day.

Really? Just one huh... LOL! Once again, you underestimate AJ and his abilities to manage a game. It's not as simple as you make it out to be, trust me.

Bama OL has 40 pounds on LSU DL........... but LSU has completely physically exhausted every team they've played this year. And it gets worse from week to week.

I gotta go to work but let me know what the Bama plan on Randle is........... That's not a first down, it's a touchdown if Bama doesn't smother him.
The plan is having the 2nd ranked pass defense in the nation cover him, and have arguably the best corner, and the best safety in college football cover him.

Bama has done the same thing... It will be interesting to find out which team exhausts the other.

Both teams scoring well, and only Miss State game for LSU trapped them into a predictable offensive pattern.
I see both teams reaching the 20s by the 4th quarter, and could very well reach the 30s when all is said and done.
Usually the fear of facing a superior defense has both offenses primed and ready; they practice 3rd and short strategies that will confuse the opposing defense--even 3rd and 10 plays that are not on tape previously. The bye week helps. They also have defenses in practice very similar to the one they will face (imposing practice squads).
The athleticism will be there--make no mistake about it. But the brains and the coaching will points on the board. Nothing will be surpressed here.
I see a very, very close game that turns on a turnover or two. No lead will be safe. The clock will run out on one team's destiny.

Very nice, and well said sir! Not so sure on those numbers... I don't feel like LSU's offense can put that many on Bama's D.

I highly doubt that you will let any comment go. You have responded to every remark like a Alabama fan. Those comments that I posted were not my own as I stated but it's simple to see that you did not care.
Why would you bring up the Heisman voters in this discussion? Their votes will not make a difference on the field Saturday.
Like you said a LOT of LSU players have inflated stats against weaker opponents, but they also have had great games against top 25 teams.
You keep saying that Trent will have an amazing game, but will also struggle when LSU stacks the box. That doesn't translate to an amazing game to me when he will struggle at times. Half his yards are on 6 runs against 3 shitty teams, not mediocre teams.
You better be glad you have Ritter's officiating crew again at home. How ironic is that shit.
And only a HOMER would think a 2-2 record against Miles was an advantage.
This thread is ridiculous. You can't say "the same thing can be said for Bama". Don't know who wins but you sir are hilarious.

Tappy, I like your writeup but aren't you worried about your QB?
What pressure games has he performed in? Nothing that I can see, I understand Bama has the edge in most parts of this game, but makes me lean LSU is their defense vs a guy who....
1a-hasn't played in a big game
1b-the pressure for this game isn't something he is used to dealing with....he's still only a soph...

Those comments that I posted were not my own as I stated but it's simple to see that you did not care. - It's a discussion. I am going to take every comment, analyze it, and respond to it to the best of my ability. That is who I am, and what I do. Some people hate me for it, and some respect it. I couldn't care less about what you think about it all...
Why would you bring up the Heisman voters in this discussion? Their votes will not make a difference on the field Saturday. - No, and I don't put much stock into the talking heads, trust me. I was just simply trying to make a point, stating that there is so much more to him than inflated yards in practice games.
Like you said a LOT of LSU players have inflated stats against weaker opponents, but they also have had great games against top 25 teams. - I agree totally...

Half his yards are on 6 runs against 3 shitty teams, not mediocre teams. - Not exactly... If you read the points I have made with Trent and this game, you will find that I have said Balance is the key for Bama in this game. I also said there will be times he struggles, specifically when they stack the box. I feel like when that happens, AJ will be put in some situations where he can do well against man coverage, and thus get some pressure off the running game. That is when I think Trent or Eddie will do well... I also stated, however, that I am interested to see how AJ will do against that secondary in those situations.
You better be glad you have Ritter's officiating crew again at home. How ironic is that shit. - Yeah, I personally feel like this game should have an OOC officiating crew.
And only a HOMER would think a 2-2 record against Miles was an advantage. - Didn't say that alone was an advantage. I included it with several other reasons, and also that Saban is 14-1 in revenge games.
This thread is ridiculous. You can't say "the same thing can be said for Bama". Don't know who wins but you sir are hilarious. - You have your opinion, and you are entitled to it. Thanks for the response, and best of luck to you.

Those are not factors that concern me. He has shown no signs of struggling, or being effected by pressure at any point this season. Other than the fact he will be facing the best secondary he has faced all season, he has done everything that has been asked of him week in, and week out. When the run game has been unsuccessful at times, he has consistently stepped up, and been a great QB. I am anxious to see how well he manages this game. There will be a lot of opportunities for him I feel...
LSU's defense isn't invulnerable... WV put up 500 yards on them, and that tells me there are some gaping holes in it. Not saying Bama has near the offense WV has...

Yeah, but those games mean nothing to me as well. Those aren't pressure games. It should concern you, because to me, he is the deciding factor in this game. Lee and Jefferson have played and won in games like this. This is 10x bigger then anything your QB has come close to playing.
. What happens if Trent can't find holes and he's forced to throw...no doubt LSU's defense has holes, but they also have shown they can expose people who can't react to their defense quick enough.

A young QB playing in the biggest game of his life does not concern you? Doesn't bother you in the slightest bit?
You keep bringing up West Virginia put up 500 yards on LSU 463 to be exact) So what? Guess what, LSU still won the damn game! In SEC Games only LSU leads the SEC in pass Defense and Alabama is third. LSU is giving up 119 yard per game and bama is giving up 148 per game. In football fluke shit happens, like the WVU game. What you fail to mention in that game is they forced 4 turnovers (2 INTs) and still beat them by 25.
If you are hanging you hat on AJ McCarron throwing for 300+ then bama will lose. That is not their game. If he throws for that much it will mean they are down and will probably be forcing throws and turn it over. Hmmm....similar to what WVU did. So the 463 yards in passing has no merit in my opinion for this game because Bama will never throw enough to get that high and if they do it is because they are down.
Fluke shit happens in football, doesn't make LSU any worse on defending the pass. Hell the Saints lost to the Rams this past weekend...bad!
