Up to 11 1/2 in a lot of places, LuDawg.  Any thoughts on the line moving away from UNC and what's your take on it settling in. Continued to move up in the VT game a couple of weeks back, was wondering if you think it may do the same here.  BOL  BOL

Man, I'm really not sure, 222bad.  I won't make a play until a little later in the week.  I'm not overly concerned about the line moving at this point...especially with my early lean.

We'll see!  New hoops coaching staff with Jeff Lebo running things.  We'll see how much better we get.  Gonna be another big money making opportunity for us on the hardwood ;).

I am a Huge Tarheel fan, but I will say they will have there hands full here with ECU.  Believe they will win by 3-6 points but not by 11.
Gambling is only a problem when your losing!

I agree with you Lu that the Pirates will score.....But after watching VT completley dismantle the Pirates Defense in the 2nd half.....Its hard to back them when they are only getting +10.....TJ Yates is no slouch, and will make that secondary pay big time.  VT Tyrod Taylor is no where near the QB Yates is and look what he did to them.  I like ECU but that defense has me scared shitless to back them......I mean how the fuck do you not cover a spread like that after being up by 3 at the half....only 3 points scored 2nd half and gave up 28 points.  I think I may have to see how they rebound with UNC before I consider betting on them again.  I want to see how that defense responds.  But GL as always Lu,  and thanks for all the insight and knowledge you bring to Covers

Rutgers QB was injured before the game started, re-injured during the 1st half, and played sparingly the rest of the game.

That said, UNC will bring the pain with NFL talent at linebacker.  They've got a stronger defensive line than VT has and they will undoubtedly follow VT's second half game plan.  That consisted of a blitz filled attack.  ECU coaches said today that over the bye week and all this week they have and will focus on blitz pick up with their running backs.  

ECU OC Riley better have something to counter that mess this week.  If he had last week, ECU would be sitting here at 3-0 in my opinion, knocking on the door of the top 25.

If we both agree it makes me feel a whole lot better placing it. I do my own thing. I just check your thread and compare what I have. I already hit two 3 teamers and 2 singles with your hard work added to mine.

So I thank you and wish you well on any game you place. You will never hear me say anything negative about any game or any one.

Now if it gets up to 16 or better I will move on it. And I don't think it will. So I will sit this one out and wish you well.

Hi Lu,
hmm, starters running back Johnny White and linebacker Quan Sturdivant might be out but still the lines move to -13.

Any explanation ? Is Dr Bob (whoever he is), as someone put a week or two ago, on the Heels?

Hey LuDAWG---------I see the line just went to 13. Are there any significant injuries for East Carolina ? I don't see any from the report but there might me something that I'm missing !
Or it could just be the sharpies manipulating the line and we could see a buy back at 14 points. Getting 2 td's with the Pirates sounds like a good play to me.

i wouldn't make too much of a line move from 10.5 to 13.. 11 and 12 are pretty dead numbers. Will we see a 14 though?

LuDawg, just comparing SOS of both teams and was surprised to see UNC #6 and ECU #47.  After this week that number will get closer and in the two games following, if each teams opponents hold true to form, ECU will inch even closer to UNC's SOS.  Surprised looking at the schedule how tuff ECU's opening half of games will have been.  Not saying that SOS is a major factor in this weeks game, but UNC has had a little better competition to warm up for this game and for conference play.  Great test this week for your Pirates, to see how they bounce back from the second half meltdown against VT.  BOL and love your two added plays, just not sure if I can back UTEP on the road, N Mex or not.

IMHO if you take ECU plus the points you need to play ECU on the ML.

The best part of of NCAA football wagering is the ML! not looked yet but it must be large
