The guy has played shotgun entire career; his release is as slow as dirt; Bob Davie is talking about drafting him number 1 to play the wildcat; Tim Tebow is not a pro qb no matter how you slice it; do you think pro defenders are worried about Tebow running the bowl; he isnt Mike Vick; he was on college football live talking to Mel Kiper someone that know a helleva lot more about if you will make it in the draft and said he was a 3rd rd pick at best and in noway was he a qb; he was an Hback at best if that; he is was sitting there crying to Mel Kiper telling Kiper he doesnt know his crap; are you freaking kidding me; he doesnt have the skills period; yea he was a great college qb but so was Charlie Ward; I cant wait to get this stupid idiot in the combine and every scout and GM tells him the same thing. This guy has some nerve what he is going to do talk a coach or scout that he will turn out to be great. hahhahahhahah; there is a reason Bradford is projected to go number 1 in the draft as a QB; he has everything that you are looking for. Tebow coolaid drinkers hope he comes back because he may not make it all in the NFL so it would be the last time you saw him unless he starts selling insurance in South Florida.

Did you also hear about how mad he was at Kiper and others that said he cant play qb and how mad he was at people that left him off the ballot for the Heisman and he got jobbed and should have won; what a freakin crybaby; I think people are mistaken leadership for being a freakin baby; the reason you got left off your numbers suck; he threw for less than 2000 yards than Bradford and over 2500 than Harrell who wasnt even invited; this guy is so freakin full of himself; just like after the Ole Miss game; he was crying after that game to the media because they just lost to a team not ranked in the top 50 at home; he was embarrassed; all he really said is I am sorry I stunk up the field; he needs to listen to the experts because first of all he wont even get a chance to play qb in the NFL because they wont put him on the field no matter how mad and how many times he tells the coach he can play; god will this kid just shutup. Its getting old.

I think some teams will like Tebow as an H back, wildcat, or possibly even qb in a system like New England's.  He will be drafted and work hard.  The kid might not be your ideal QB, but he is a winner.

Tebow is one of the best college players I have ever seen, but he is in no way, shape or form, an NFL quarterback.

No, I never saw or read ANYWHERE about Tebow "crying" about anything, much less the heisman.  Tell me where.....I don't believe it until I see it.

Emmit Smith was too slow and small to be a NFL running back too....Joe Montana was too small, too slow, arm to weak to be an NFL QB also....Tebow is GREAT.  RU kidding me??? I am a B10 fan...don't really much care for Florida, but wow, how can you even suggest he doesn't even deserve a shot?  This guy has great character, and will give you EVERYTHING he has....won't get into trouble.  I'd take him, latest 2nd round.  Now, tell me where you saw this about him "whinning".  I don't believe it.

Good god you guys make him out to be one of the best players in college football history; what about last year when they sucked it up HUGE; where was Urban Legend Meyer; his numbers this year are horrible; he is a qb and threw for less than 2500 yards; and contrary to popular belief if Tebow says something its not splashed all over the NFL; he did talk to Kiper and talked to other reporters about how pissed he was on how noone thought he was a potential qb in the NFL that is as FACT and he was pissed that he lost the Heisman because people left him off the ballot that is a FACT; the guy is a protypical crybaby; people keep saying leadership; its like he loses, cries about it and says he going to work harder big deal doesnt every person that loses work harder; do people not think Bradford after losing to WV worked harder he just isnt some media junkie who loves the cameras and cries all the time; he just puts the work in and puts up HUGE numbers and wins the HEISMAN; Tebow should be blaming himself; his numbers were half of what they were last year; start playing better and dont lose at home to pathetic teams and maybe you would have won and no you will not be a nfl qb no matter how much leadership and character and how much you work hard; it doesnt work that way; you have to have the skills; the accuracy which he in know way or shape of form does; he might look great against Vandy but try making those slow ass throws against NFL corners he will get eaten up; I could eat a hamburger before he throws the ball; he cant even make all the throw an NFL qb has to; he might turn into a tight end of maybe be a scout team qb but that is all it is; just because you win the Heisman or have big numbers doesnt mean crap; you have to have skills; ask Matt Cassel he never played a down in college and he is 20 times the nfl qb Tebone will be.

Did you know what round Emmitt Smith was drafted in; the first round; so yes people thought he would be good; and yea I guess if you want to name Joe Montana; I can name 50 other qbs who were drafted that didnt do crap who had huge numbers in college; so your argument is already stupid by naming Emmitt Smith and stupidier by even putting Joe Montana in the discussion.

Who's Kiper ? What has he actually done in football ?

There are alot of bad qb's playing right now in the NFL. Can't hurt to take a chance on a guy who is a winner.

Great we have a guy that doesnt even know who Kiper; he is only the best draft guru in the last 25 years; and does every single draft; obviously this kid is like 13; I have nothing against Tebow he is a great college qb but he doesnt play alone; he has a great coach with a ton of weapons; great college career doesnt mean great nfl career that is a proven fact; I know Tebow is a fighter but when he gets to the NFL he is going to see that he just doesnt have the physical skills to make the throws that you have to make its plain and simple; every scout has him as a 3rd round pick at best. People that talk about Joe Montana and stuff like that; scouting is a million times better now there is always players drafted in later rounds that turn out to be great but there arent many qb's; he will figure it out and move to a different position once he gets to the NFL and see the speed of the game is just too much for him.

actually if you took the time to do some research you would see that last year (sandwiched inbetween 2 national championships) that the offense put up 30+ pts consistently every game , it was just that the defense was nothing but freshman and they flat out sucked

as you can see they have matured quite alot in one year

    scratch out g8r h8r

first the guy inthe nfl forum that says the steelers are horrible & now someone that hates tebow for no apparent reason 7 makes up things to justify it. ok, here are the facts. yes, tebow may not be an elite nfl qb but he never cried about the heisman & he is a great leader. i watch espn, cnn & various other sports programs religously & never saw one mentiion of this supposed crying. i did a search & looked at at least a dozen articles with stories on tebow & interviews with him & found nothing. yes his numbers are down this year but he attempted 82 less passes than last year & had 56 less rush attempts which took away many of his goaline carries leading to td's. he only threw 2 int's this year & his qb rating was almost 7 points higher than last year. not to mention he only threw 4 less td's. you might hate the guy but atleast have valid arguments to make your point.

oh yeah, forgot to mention his YPA were the exact same as last year. touch the ball almost 140 times less than the year before & your numbers are due to come down. only 2 picks against those fast, athletic sec defenses is simply amazing. he has the arm strength & intelligence to succeed in the nfl if a good qb coach can fix his footwork IMO.

You are an idiot.  You can't compare the numbers of Big 12 QB's to that of an SEC QB.  The top ranked defense in the big 12 was ranked 54th overall (Texas).  Tebow faced something like 9 defenses ranked in the top 40.  Not to mention that he doesn't throw the ball 40 times a game.  When a guy who finishes second in the Heisman (McCoy) is ranked 5th in passing yards in the Big 12 alone, that should go to show you that the numbers shouldn't be everything.  There is a reason Tebow got the largest amount of first place votes.  While he probably won't be a good QB (or possibly not even one) in the NFL, you can't tell me that you think Harrell is a better and more dynamic college football player with better leadership skills and passion for the game.

And if you think Ole Miss is not a good football team, than you certainly have never watched them play.  I like their chances to beat Texas Tech of the almighty Big 12 in their bowl game.

USC lost to an un-ranked team earlier in the year.  You want to talk about how they are a bad football team and how Mark Sanchez is a terrible QB?

JC trichardson you must be pretty thick headed.

Of course I've heard of Kiper, but whats his background.
So he sits in his basement and gives his opinion on players, big deal. There are thousands of guys who do that.

If he's so freaking good why doesn't he work for some NFL team in the front office.
You must be retarded. " Kiper said....". Who gives a F what Kiper thinks.

Kiper works for ESPN.. thats a pretty good network..

As for Tebow.. dont really like the guy as a player.. cant knock him as a person though.. seems like a nice kid and def has his head on right.. But like the rest of Urban Meyer QB's(Alex Smith the most known), Tebow is a system QB.. they run plays out of weird sets and put defenses on a swivel.. It's easy to throw it to Harvin coming outta the backfield toasting LB's.. TT's delivery is horrible and the ball NEVER comes out in a tight spiral... let alone rarely comes out as a spiral in general.. Non spiral balls dont come out accurately and wala in the NFL those get picked all day..

and for the idiot that said Bradford wouldn't shred SEC defenses is a joke.. sure they played in the Big12, but remember they played TCU and gashed this team.. and TCU's D is just as good as ANY team in the SEC.. besides FLA and maybe UGA(i think Stafford is really overrated), who else can throw the ball? i wish there was a prop for o/u 300yrds passing for Bradford in the NC game.. anyways, all this crap and i still got money on FLA!!! haha BOL in this argument..

as for best weapon over the last 25 years?! wtf... not even the last 5 years.. VINCE YOUNG is twice the weapon Tebow is and look where he's at now....................................................

Listen if there is no offense like the SEC going up against a defense then yes I am sure that there will be alot of STATISTICALLY good SEC teams but they face crappy offense every year; as far as Ole Miss; they lost to Vandy and SC at home so do they stink yes they stink; as far as Tebow crying I didnt mean that literally but he was ON TAPE bitching about Kiper and his evaluation and how he was screwed by getting left off some of the Heisman votes that cost him a Heisman. That is not a leader no matter how you slice it. As far as the NFL he is like Matt Jones and need to start realizing it fast; Matt Jones knew he would not be a qb and worked his ass off and ran a good 40 time and got in the first round and make some money now its not like Tebow has any speed but if he at least came to the realization that he wasnt going to be a qb he could start training for what he could be and get drafted higher because if not he will turn into the next Charlie Ward. Those are all facts.

I want somone to tell me how you rank leadership and passion apparently its off the scales for Tebow and Bradford and everyone have none; people that say that crap is crap plain and simple; Mccoy; Harrell; Bradford have the same leadership and passion for the game as Tebone and people that say different are just stupid; you can compare numbers you cant compare passion. Its a stupid argument.
