ya they just announced it on espn.

 

U know they said earlier 95% of the people supporting texas tech were supporting mike leach.  I wonder if adam james father wasnt connected to ESPN if they would of reacted like this when they said that id the coach apologized they would not have even suspended him from coaching.

They just wanted to get out of payig $800,000, I hope Leach sues Craig James, or destroys his career.

Still plenty of talent in Texas to recruit and coaches who run the spread offense are dime a dozen now.  Tech will win their 7 to 9 games a year for the near future.

 Not much to destroy, LOL.

 I wonder if Leach didn't get suckered into this by James. I've read where james was always hanging around......which I'm sure perturbed Leach. Leach was the BMOC in Lubbock & I'm sure hated seeing Crack James in town.
 Maybe Leach did something stupid to a kid he didn't care for more because of the kids dad then the kid himself.

why would Tech want to get out of paying him the $800k? They are nothing without him.

But it was a move they had to make.

Leach will land on his feet just fine.

Not a huge fan of Lou Holtz, but he is the only one at ESPN who has Leach's side. What would NCAA have done to Bear Bryant in this day and age, I mean hell he didn't hurt the kid and the video of the 2 rooms he was put in shows it was a helluva lot bigger than a shed or electrical room.
