There are very large differences in the way the two teams mention the tragedies.
Bama said they used it as motivation to put their best foot forward and pay tribute to those that lost their lives and inspire the people of Alabama.
The Okie Light contingency mentions the deaths of their coaches as a possible distraction. I am not familiar with Okie State athletics, but I would like to hear how the passing of the women's basketball coach would be such a huge distraction for the men's football team.
No one is using this as leverage in either case I don't think.
Bottom line Bama will play LSU again without a doubt in my mind.
OSU lost a game they should have won and we might still be having these conversations about Bama getting the nod over unbeaten OSU had they won...
Did they lose because the crash? Absolutely not. But....
Going up against a team they were 4 TD favorites against and mourning the loss of their own are two things that add up to being un interested in playing on a Friday night on the road.
