I confused SMU and UTEP. I like NMSU +8 versus UTEP, not SMU. I like SMU -9 versus what figures to be a very weak and inexperienced North Texas squad.

It's not a game I really like at all, but I think FIU will keep the game relatively close, just as they did last season. And I really don't think you can discount the Miami heat factor here. I would not be shocked to see FIU win the game outright.
The total is more appealing to me, because this is a game where we may see the ball snapped 150 times, which emphasizes my point about the heat, but it also lends itself to a lot of points being scored.
If I were to make a play in this game, and I doubt I will, I would play OVER 61.
