That is the dumbest statement ever talking about navy is going to rest some starters when they still have chance to win american

A neutral field actually means this 7 pt line should be a 10 pt line for Navy! 10 points for Navy with a team Wow!

A 3 win team that beat Nevada and Syracuse (a sieve of a defense) by >10. And Syracuse gave them a run for their money for almost 3 quarters.

And now they are laying 10 a Navy team that gave Houston it's first loss. Houston isn't as strong as we all thought given their loss to SMU but, hell, Navy didn't know that at the time.

I want to know what cappers here love this 7? It's just a bizarre line move.

The line opened at 3.5, I believe because the books were REMOVING 3/3.5 for the neutral field and it appears early betting has thrown that right back in the line. As though it's not even on a neutral field.

Adjust 3/3.5 points from neutral field to home/away fields. This is an industry standard for those who don't know.

We will win the next one and stay above 70%. Great angle.

Guys like Tago Smith, Matt Davis and Sirk have been out for most of the season already.

•  Navy and Notre Dame will meet for the 90th consecutive year when the two battle one another on Saturday morning at EverBank Field (67,164) in Jacksonville in what is the longest continuous intersectional rivalry in college football. Kickoff is set for 11:30 AM and the game will be televised nationally by CBS as part of a tripleheader. Navy Federal Credit Union and Navy Mutual Aid Association are the presenting game day sponsors.
•  Navy enters Saturday's game looking to bounce back from last week's 52-45 loss at USF, while Notre Dame is coming off a thrilling 30-27 victory over Miami.
•  Notre Dame leads the all-time series, 76-12-1, and has won five straight against Navy.  EverBank Field will be the 16th different site to host the Navy-Notre Dame game.
•  A win over Notre Dame on Saturday would tie Ken Niumatalolo with Wayne Hardin for the most wins by a Navy coach over Notre Dame (three). Hardin beat Notre Dame in 1960, 1961 and 1963. Niumatalolo has wins over the Irish in 2009 and 2010.

Game Day Festivities
•  The March-On of the Brigade of Midshipmen will be at 11:18 AM.
•  A fly-over will take place at 11:35:30 AM by VP-30. Patrol Squadron Thirty (VP-30), the "Pro's Nest," is the U.S. Navy's Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS).  VP-30's mission is to provide P-3 specific training to pilots, naval flight officers, and enlisted aircrew prior to reporting to the fleet.  More than 650 staff personnel train over 800 officer and enlisted personnel annually, utilizing 21 P-3 aircraft.  Foreign military personnel from Thailand, Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Japan and the Republic of Korea have all received specific aircrew and maintenance training on P-3 operations and systems at VP-30.
•  Kickoff is set for 11:39 AM.
•  Following the game, Navy's alma mater, Navy Blue & Gold, will be played as the team stands at attention in front of the Brigade of Midshipmen.  It is one of the best traditions in all of sports..

Scouting Notre Dame
•  The Irish enter Saturday's game with a 3-5 record. They have victories over Nevada (39-10), Syracuse (50-33) and Miami (30-27) and have lost to Texas (50-47 OT), Michigan State (36-28), Duke (38-35), NC State (10-3) and Stanford (17-10).
• Quarterback Deshone Kizer leads the Notre Dame offense, completing 143 of his 241 pass attempts for 2,038 yards with 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions.  Kizer is also the team's second-leading rusher with 316 yards and seven touchdowns on 86 carries.
•  Kizer's leading receiver is Equanimeous St. Brown, who has 37 catches for 683 yards and seven touchdowns. Torii Hunter Jr. is second with 30 catches for 417 yards and two touchdowns.  
•  Josh Adams leads the rushing attack with 510 yards and two touchdowns on 101 carries.
•  Nyles Morgan leads the defense with 67 tackles, six tackles for a loss, three pass break-ups and one fumble recovery. Drue Tranquill has 56 tackles and two tackles for a loss.
•  Kicker Justin Yoon is 9-12 on field goals and 29-30 on extra-points, while punter Tyler Newsome is averaging 43.7 yards per punt.
•  Notre Dame is averaging 149.8 rushing yards per game, 263.8 passing yards per game and 413.5 yards of toal offense per game.  Defensively, the Irish are giving up 160.1 rushing yards per game, 228.0 passing yards per game and 388.1 yards of total offense per game.

Back In Florida
•  Prior to last week's game at USF, Navy had not played in Florida since 2000 when the Mids lost to Notre Dame, 45-14, in Orlando.
•  With back-to-back trips to Florida, the Mids will have played as many games in the Sunshine State in two weeks as they have in the previous 41 years (Navy played at Miami in 1975).
•  The Mids will return to Florida next year as Navy will open up the 2017 season on Sept. 2 in Boca Raton against Florida Atlantic.  Additionally,  Navy will travel to Orlando in 2018 to take on UCF.
•  As a member of the American Athletic Conference, Navy is guaranteed to travel to Florida twice every four years (at USF, at UCF).

AAC Race Heating Up
•  Five teams are within one game of each other in the loss column (full standings on page 10) in the American Athletic Conference West Division.
•  Navy (4-1) has a 1/2 game lead over Tulsa (3-1) and Houston (4-2) and a 1.5 game lead over Memphis (2-2) and SMU (2-2).  Navy holds the tiebreaker over Houston and Memphis. The Mids play Tulsa next Saturday at home (Nov. 12) and travel to SMU on Nov. 26.
•  In the East Division, Temple (4-1) and USF (4-1) are tied for first, while UCF (2-2) is 1.5 games back. Temple holds the tiebreaker over both USF and UCF.
•  The AAC is the only FBS conference where every team has won at least three games this year.
•  Road teams are 9-19 (.321) in AAC conference games this year. UCF (2-1) is the only team with two road wins.

Senior Class Goes For Wins Record
•  Navy's senior class (`17), which boasts a 34-13 (.723) mark, needs two wins to tie and three wins to break the school's all-time wins record over a four-year period.
•  Last year's seniors (`16) tied the Class of 1909 for the school record with 36. The Class of 2016 finished with a 36-16 (.692) record, while the Class of 1909 went 36-7-5 (.802).

Road Woes
•  Navy is just 1-2 away from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium this season and has been outscored 94-80.
•  The Mids are 4-0 at home and have outscored the opposition, 168-108.
