Taking into account the above information, I like Cincy since they have been covering at a greater clip than ECU (67% vs 50%) and by a larger margin (20 points to ECU's 14.5).
One thing I do find concerning is the 2 occasions Cincy didn't cover this year they were +20 point favorites (vs USF as -22.5 favorite they won by 21 and vs PEAY they won by 35 but failed to cover -39.5).
As it relates to how the teams matchup, the Cincy run game is strong ranking 15th in the country with 238.5 yds/gm to ECU's 103rd ranked defense allowing 217.2 yds/gm. Cincy also ranks 18th in points/game with 39.3 as opposed to the generous ECU defense allowing 37.2 points/game (102nd in the country).
To counter the risk of Cincy just missing a cover I will roll with the following:
CINCY 1H -15.5 (-125) LARGE 5 UNITS
BOL to ALL!!!

You guys have any thoughts on the over ? Think cinci run game has a easy time moving the ball tonight, if they find themselves in any third down situations Ridder can easily tuck it and go on this defense just like he did against SMU. ECU gonna keep firing even if they go down big 55 seems like a pretty good number to take

I actually like the over as well since ECU has shown the ability to also move the ball and score well this year. I have watched a few of their games and Ahler is entertaining but Cincy is the real deal.
I lean over as well, which is why I am avoiding the full game cincy spread of -27.5 and rolling with 1H as well
Cincy defense has been super stingy this year too which I wouldnt be surprised to give ECU fits throughout the game

also remember this game is going to be on ESPN2, underdogs in college football tend to step it up when they know millions of people are gonna be watching.

True, I don't really think they can afford to look ahead. Also I think ECU being competitive was let out of the bag when they got robbed v Tulsa... side note that was one of the most horrific officiating displays i have EVER seen and I dont know a close second. I had ECU ML +500
I have followed both of these teams closely and hoping Cincy is prepared for tonight!

Yeah ECU did step it up vs Tulsa which was also nationally televised.
Maybe I am a bit biased but I have been super impressed by Cincy this year. Holding teams like Memphis to 10 points and SMU to 13 made a quick believer out of me. I would rather roll the dice on what i perceive as the better team.
I will say ECU is no pushover but Cincy has had an iron clad defensive unit this year (let's hope I didn't just jinx them)
