Thank you Step. Appreciate you posting you plays and RSW's. Look forward to reading your plays this season and tailing most if not all of them. One question - are you Week 1 plays "final" or are you still just considering them. thanks again

With you on Arkansas -7...That's your best pick...I also like Houston -4.5...On the radar, Clemson -18.5...
Intrigued by the West Virginia +7 pick...Daniels v. Slovis...The former a 5 star recruit to USC the latter a 3 star recruit...Picket was a generational player at Pitt, so I think it will take some time to ramp things up...I am interested in your rationale for the game...
GL this season! I look forward to interacting with you on picks...

Wash State though yeah can't wait to see Cam .. pretty deep at WR and couple Fr. backup QBs were at least capable of running the offense despite throwing a few picks in the spring game .. sounds like they think Xavier Ward is a real future star for them .. No reason to think they'll be laying off the gas too much in garbage time w a capable backups and boatload of receivers .. Seems like the run game / OL are real question marks .. the OC knew what to do w the good RB they had at UIW so hope his scheme makes the RBs more effective .. also De Laura wasn't exactly a slick scrambler, Cam should add that dimension .. hope they can stretch the D enough Watson/others can contribute .. we'll see, think alot to like, alot more than the previews are saying ..
Took Rice under 64 I think .. hoping they can chew up some clock running on USC, we'll see .. think it correlates to what you're thinking, over 64 and think USC is stuffin em and scoring at will ..
Only game on my FCS radar is GA.So / Morgan St, Eagles changing things up this year, looks like a pretty intensive pass game, D couldn't tackle anyone .. if not there maybe still get a number to play vs Nebraska, Whipple and Thompson might be scoring at will in that one .. lot more possessions than a usual G-SO game ..

Just perusing the schedule and i dont see a line on Iowa / S.Dakota St. yet. With Iowa St. on deck the book maybe a tad too generous and its safe to assume Iowa is aware of Who's Next..great lp.

Perhaps. Just my opinion but I think South Dakota state is due to have a severe pull back year. They lost tons of talent and I don’t know that they have refilled the tank.
way too much lost in my opinion. In fact, I would love to see the books asleep at the wheel and put out something easy like Iowa -13

Considering making plays on these games for week 0 New Mexico State +12.5 UNC -34.5 (massey projected) Florida State -37.5 (massey projected) UNLV -14 (massey projected) nothing jumps out at me for week 0 where I feel like I have to place a wager. for week 1: FIU -20 WVU +7 Toledo -35 LT +21 New Mexico State +38 Delaware +25 Colorado State +28 Arkansas -7 Rice +35 Washington State TT over (Cam Ward is the REAL DEAL)
I asked myself today… why the fuck is PITT favored -7 over WVU?
That line seems high as hell.

Kenny Pickett ain’t no got damn generational qb. He played for damn near six seasons and only had one season he looked ok, and also was with an all American wr.

He said generational "at Pitt".....and he's correct. Been almost 40 years since Pitt had Dan Marino....and Picketts been the best since him.

Unless something massive (not massey) jumps out at you for the NC and Florida st games I would lay off full game bets. Week zero huge favs is always dicey imo. Half the time Coaches are just trying new things and if they do have, say a 24 pt lead at the half, in come the scrubs to gum it all up.
Personally I'll be looking for a first half bet. If I'm in Vegas I'll get some First quarter bets too at Red Rock.
I will however give an exception to the Toledo line because lolz Mac. They did well for me last year.
I also honestly don't remember you betting many team totals so I'll probably look at that one just because you recommended it. I'm severely lacking when it comes to Pac 12 teams so maybe this will be my entry point this year.

Well go and look at his stats don’t just take my word. 5 seasons and he only had one exceptional. So while he may have had the best season for a Pitt qb in 40 years, it doesn’t make him generational even by Pitts pathetic standards. There is a fair chance kedon slovis is as good or better than pick.

Kenny Pickett #'s don't mean as much as what my eyes tell me. Pitt was a run first team his first few years and didn't have much around him....add in Narduzzi being the coach and that should tell you Picketts numbers easily would have been better under better circumstances.....
Again, he has been the best QB at Pitt since Dan Marino and thats not even debatable.

It's not even a sure thing that Slovis will start. Nick Patti is going to get every chance to compete for the job. Pitt also has a ton of guys coming back on both sides of the ball, including the entire OL.

I'm with you on Rice +35 (will look for a 1st half bet too) U.S.C ain't covering that big spread. Rice will put up some points on them into the teens. I just don't see 49-14.
Washington State TT over. (Taking your word right now but I'll get some more investigation in next week now that baseball is on break)
Also waiting on Houston TT and most likely will go over.
Most of the time that Houston offense is on turbo right from the beginning of the season. I just have to hope Holgorsen doesn't have one of his lean West Virginia years with this offense. Clayton Tune should be a force this season. Every quarterback I've seen play for Holgorsen, their final season has always been their best year.
They are under the gun now like the Longhorns were last year since they announced going to the Big 12 next season. I was thinking their recruiting would get a bump from that, but nothing super obvious so far. I do like their potential backup qb/2023 starting qb pick. Next season though I think the quality of the scouts/front office/ players will start to gradually rise as they seek to stand out and make a splash. But we got time before that begins.
Houston's strength of schedule this season isn't that daunting. I could see them 10-2 and potentially undefeated with a Coastal Carolina 2020 type season going into a bowl game. But that would require a lot of things coming together in a fairytale style with the new blood. Week zero may give some hiccups but I'll chance it. They got enough major pieces coming back that I'm willing to pull the trigger on anything around 31. UTSA's defense won't be able to stop Tank and the receivers from scoring points. UTSA is always a quick offense which scoring or not will lead to more Houston possessions. Hopefully Houston will still have a good disruptive turnover forcing defense as well.
Will def hit up their TT's all year regardless. But if they can hit high 30's low 40's in one of the first 2 games, it's on.

Nice close to even money teaser…how confident are you that Vandy wins? Hawaii is always a weird place to play… basically another continent…and sharps keep saying… never bet against Hawaii and UNLV for a reason… Like to hear your angles on that game…
