ho-hum week 9. Felt it should have been much better. SMU, are you kidding me. Why continue to kick to that guy. Do something else. Anything else.
UTEP continues to cover and play well. Dominated the stats. FAU couldn’t convert on 3rd down. Well done UTEP.
Yale, vandy and FIU under. Along with south Alabama and Pitt + Miami over. Great bets.
la tech? What the hell? In a game you absolutely needed to win, and you do THAT??
tough luck with BC. They were in complete control up 6-0 and it fell apart in 5 minutes. Then three trips inside the syr 30…no points in the 4th. Yikes.
weekday games continue to be awful. For the rest of the season weekday games will be .33 units. No deviation from that.
onto week 10:
Tues: emu + toledo over 52 .33u
Wed: Kent state -3 -120 .33u
Thurs:
Fri:
Sat:
FIU team total under 24.5
utah state + New Mexico State over 71
UNLV -1 +113
georgia southern +21

Duck, I wouldn’t say Utep played well. Game was 28-10 with 3 minutes left to play and Utep scored 2 late touchdowns to get within the number. Gained 128 yards on their last 2 drives to make the stats look better. FAU pretty good and well dominated them for 57 minutes.
I had FAU so wasn’t a huge fan how that transpired lol.

interesting perspective...here is mine.
UTEP led 10-7 with twenty seconds to go in the first half, and FAU got a lucky TD off of broken coverage (the ONE time in the game where that happened) to end the half. they had ONE sustained drive in the 1st half.
the FAU first half drives included:
3 plays, 2 yards
3 plays, 7 yards
3 plays, 9 yards
3 plays, 2 yards
2 plays, 55 yards
in the 2nd half, FAU again capitalized on UTEP turnovers, compounded with phantom unsportsmanlike penalties...
UTEP had the yard edge 436 to 279, won the first downs 18 to 12, held possession of the ball a full 14 minutes longer than FAU,
FAU was 1 for 15 on third down for the game, FAU had three explosive plays, and ONE sustained drive.
Please help me understand how FAU was "dominating them for 57 minutes". because UTEP was only ever outside the spread because they turned the ball over and missed two Fieldgoals. if not, they win outright.
Until the wallet is full.

I think EMU is okay to play. Would look at their team total over 21.5 also. they can sling it...can certainly see this being 35-24 or even higher...IF toledo does their part...heck...could be 35-24 EMU...

had to pick my eyeballs off the floor when I saw the Kent TT. The o/u is 70.5…Vegas implied score is 37.25-33.25. Value here at bookmaker with the Kent TT which crosses two key team total numbers (34,35).

I think they can hang in as well, and it will be very interesting to see how they set the tone after coming back from the bye week. I am concerned that they could not stop Hawaii last time out and hung on for a cover, where UH was trying to punch one in late. New Mexico State could give up 600 yards and 50 points in this one…
I expect this to surpass the FG total… but would really like 21 before putting in a play on them.
