That wont happen because most of the people reading bet 25 bucks a game and are born losers. Hang in Boom keep doing what you are doing. Although I will never let you live down that Case Keenum comment! I am not much better I said last July Tannehill would be an all pro in 3 years man does he need some work with that release point.

Gamblers invariably become enthralled with flashy skill position players and bet accordingly  Skill players are important, but that's usually not where games are won and lost.  Unfortunately I didn't practice what I preach in this instance, because I also became mesmerized by the magic Missouri elixir. 

I said all summer that, much to the chagrin of the majority of the country, this season would play out very much like last season in that Alabama & LSU will again be heads and shoulders above everyone else.  There are two primary reasons for this; superiority in the trenches and "depth."  The only other team creeping into the conversation at this time is Florida State.  Anyone who thinks a team like USC is ready to challenge Alabama & LSU for college football supremacy this season is fooling themselves.

Weakness in the trenches and lack of "depth" is exactly why I kept telling everyone who were rushing to make futures bets on Arkansas that they were wasting their money.  I got ripped for saying they had "zero shot" of winning the SEC West title, much less any other title.  The Razorbacks are simply too weak at the point of attack, and too thin across their roster to compete with Alabama & LSU.  All of us saw the Arkansas games against Alabama & LSU last season with our own eyes, yet some actually think the result will be different this season because the venue will change.  It won't.  Don't waste your money betting otherwise.

In laying 2 touchdowns with LSU in the SEC Championship game last season, I said that Georgia had the talent to hang with LSU for a while, but that ultimately LSU would win convincingly by wearing Georgia down with their superior "depth."  That's exactly how the game played out.

To further drive home this point, I will leave you with a very profound Saban quote from last season.

"I think that people who make those statements sort of just look at the periphery. You've got to build a team. We play 50 or 60 guys through the course of the season, and like I always say, the bottom 40 guys on your roster usually determines how good that team really is. I don't want to criticize the media or anything, because God knows I get punished enough by you guys, but you guys will look at the top four or five guys (returning) on the team and make your determination."
