9. Is the surprise team this year Kansas S.T, Clemson or Arizona S.T, Michigan or Illinois ? Really I think all five have a case and are playing with a ton of confidence right now. I could say a lot about all these teams but I'm gonna say something in particular about this Kansas S.T team. Of all the teams I mentioned the reason Kansas S.T is more impressive is because of what they have accomplished with what they have. Those other four teams always recruit good enough to be be good. But this Kansas S.T team really is playing a " us against the world " type of attitude right now. Good for you Coach Snyder.

really liked #9 ... can't wait to see how these teams fare through the heart of their conference schedules ... hope they continue to surprise ... it's nice to see some turnover at the top.

I'm usually with you on sides every week, but like every week there is always one play I question. This week it is the Louisville play. Just wondering why you jumped so quick when now you can get 17. I think 14.5 is a great line like because if CInci wins 24-10 (my ideal score) you cover. Just wondering why you didn't wait to get more points. I don't think Cinci will come out as flat as UNC, and definitely won't have as many penalties holding their offense back. BOL on this side, will probably either take the other side -16.5 or no play.

Boom...what are your thoughts on Thur's AF/SDSU game? My lean right now is towards Air Force. I just don't think SDSU is gonna be able to slow down AF's option attack and that defense may tire in  the high altitude this week. I realize SDSU just played both TCU and Michigan but even Army gashed them on the ground (over 40 min in time of poss.). Keep up the great work...you are having an amazing year!

I still need to make it down to a Clemson game.  I've been in Charlotte for 9 years and have only been to Auburn @ Georgia, Georgia @Fla (Jax) twice, WVU vs Georgia@ GA Dome Sugar Bowl, Louisville @UNC,  and every bowl game here in Charlotte.  Need to work on my Southern Bucket List.

Heading back home for Utah @Pitt at noon, Buffalo Sabres vs Pittsburgh Penguins@ 7, and Jacksonsville Jaguars vs Pittsburgh Steelers@ 1 (Sunday).  Should be a great 24 hours.  GL on your plays

I have to disagree with the Clemson pick Boom, do you really think that Stoudt can win this game if for some reason Boyd doesnt play or gets reinjured during the game, after all Maryland knows hes injured.....Its a NO PLAY for me, especially now that the line has gone to 9..GL with your picks..

Wonder what your thoughts are on this Ohio St/Illinois game....two teams usually hate each other and I feel like Illinois sees this is a perfect time to beat a vulnerable Ohio St team, the Illini should have plenty of motivation to take advantage....any lean for you on this?

Why VT Boom? Bud's defense has looked shaky all year especially last week vs Miami and they had to claw and grind their way to a win AT HOME. Now they go on the road to an underrated Wake team that is undefeated in the ACC and beat the Noles last week... I like the Deacs to not only cover but win this one.

The Conn/WV ended at 59, Which was a Lose.  Then Booms record on totals is as he has it stated. 

Not sure where you have the sides off though.

At any rate, Boom does a hell of a job on here, and I hope he keeps it up.

Thanks! My mistake. Boom started the week  27-8 on sides and I have him going 5-2 for 32-10 not 32-11. No biggy though
