Does anyone else find this process the single most idiotic, unscientific and corrupt crock of sh*t you have ever seen?

Listen, I got the four teams and two matchups I want to bet on and watch BUT the fact that any team in Florida State's position has to get screwed or "left out" is an atrocity. I agree with Booger McFarlan who called it a travesty of justice. Why can't these NCAA scumbags making these decisions employ some common sense and logic and have six godamn teams in the playoff this year? It is so ridiculous that it is the only sport where this is a possibility or that a team can get screwed so badly after doing everything right on the field. I think it's total bullshit and a stain on the sport.

And no way should Michigan be number 1 after playing the little sisters of the poor schedule in the Small10. Madness. Alabama or Texas will wipe the floor with them. Great betting opportunity.

You have no idea what you are talking about.    Michigan defense is the best in the nation.  Most balanced team.    They were favorites to win the championship at the beginning of the season, and they are the favorites now.    Put the pipe down son

I seen FSU at 4th yesterday ahead of Bama and Texas. Now after last night FSU goes out wins there conference championship and goes undefeated 13 and 0. So the committee decides that Travis being out is the reason they left Florida State out. So they have FSU at 4 with there backup last 2 weeks they go out do what they had to win games. Now today the committee decides to tell FSU last 2 weeks those wins count now winning your conference championship its means nothing with your backup QB. The committee put 2 teams ahead of them in the final rankings today with both having 1 lose and thats what I cannot fathom. You set the precedent last 2 weeks having FSU at 4. Now they moved back after a win and conference championship thats the problem I have. You punish those kids at FSU because of an injury thats your excuse. You took ranked teams and one lose teams and put them ahead of an undefeated team who is a power 5 school that won there conference championship thats the thing I am have a problem with. Feel bad for those FSU kids. That defense can match up with any offense in the 4 team playoffs. So the playoffs are set and hopefully they are great games. Going to be fun to hear what Kirby Smart says as well they went from 1 to 6. Thats another joke they are one of the best 4 teams in the country yet they are out. If its the vest 4 teams then its Michigan Texas Alabama and Georgia Washington should be out as well. Georgia would beat Washington i think. So Georgia got screwed as well if its 4 best teams.

I could argue it's more impressive what Fsu has done with a third string qb. I had a feeling the committee would leave them out and put Bama in. Sec money and power talks. It's a shame not sure why we play the games. Show me a sport where teams with worse records are placed ahead of teams with better records in the standings? And the above poster is correct the committee has fsu top 4 for weeks they go out and win the conference championship and somehow drop? Makes no sense the committee hasn't been consistent with anything for years.

Excellent point re what FSU has done with 3rd string. I’d like to see the 4 that made it with their 3rd string qb at the helm for three games. Total joke

Michigan will choke yet again. Great betting opportunity. Their schedule was pathetic. Aside from Ohio state there’s not a single impressive win. And they barely won that.

Agree re Georgia as well. They lose only game by one possession and drop from 1 to 6. Huh?

    @TJZags598

Wow you said that well. They get punished for the championship game. They are one fo the 4 best teams that joke of committee said dropped FSU out. How they justify Georgia out for Washington is my big question. No one can tell me Georgia isn't a top 4 team in the country if they held FSU out on that criteria.

You give Georgia a month to prepare for a playoff they beat anyone they play and win again. Kirby Smart and Georgia should be just as mad as FSU. They would beat Michigan and there horrible offense. They would beat Texas and Washington as well.

All those saying FSU is screwed....There's only 4 spots and 5 conferences.  You could have 5 undefeated Champs, then what?

FSU isn't in because BAMA beat the #1 Ranked team!!!  Only loss was to #3.  Without their starting QB FSU looked TERRIBLE.

ITS NOT FAIR!!  I agree. BUT how can you leave out a team that has a high chance of winning it all over a team that doesn't?

...and Alabama looked terrible against Auburn...Washington looked terrible against WSU....Texas looked terrible against TCU and Houston...The difference is that Texas and Alabama LOST...FSU is undefeated, beat 8 bowl teams (more than ANYONE in the nation), and went 2-0 against the mighty SEC. It was clearly rigged so Alabama could get in. They moved Texas up 4 spots ahead of FSU for beating crappy Oklahoma state because they knew they couldnt put Alabama in without putting in the team that beat them. They played us all. They birthed a narrative that allowed them to put Alabama in. It is a dark day for the sport.

Iowa averaged 16.6 points a game with two scoring shutouts, Mich & Penn St.

all the FSU stats are cool, but almost everything they did was with Jordan Travis.  If JT is there, they get in.  That's the point.

When they eeked past mid teams like LV and UF, they no longer looked like the top 4 team they did with JT.  Yes, they have a great defense but they didnt play great offenses which Mich, Bama, Wash and Texas all have.  Right now FSU has the look of....Iowa.  Very good defense, below average offense.

When you look at really big wins (FSU has none. neither really does Georgia) and strength of schedule (FSU was well below Texas, Bama, and even Georgia) in addition to missing JT....the committee ranked FSU below Bama and Texas.

It's a script by the committee in who they want to win.

Bama n Georgia, whoever they put in will take it all.  By putting bama in tells me that bama will take it because the committee wanted it. Cheating Michigan will need to beat them zebras if they want to win.  They will do everything to make sure Michigan will lose so that bama will be the favorite team in the championship game.   One last hoorah for retiring Saban.  That's the script.

Haha...ok , all of you who think FSU should have gotten into the final 4 teams....confess, how many of you will be taking FSU v Georgia?  The line i believe at the moment is Georgia -13.5.  I am not saying you are wrong and that FSU should have gotten in but how many of you will be taking FSU v Georgia in terms of gambling purposes?

Perhaps FSU feels extra motivation to beat GA and GA has no motivation.  Perhaps with extra weeks FSU QB play will be better.

Just wondering now that we all have said our piece with them being left out how do you feel about their game v Georgia???
