 Great to see you Step...Thanks for posting...I will will be on a few dogs, but mostly faves...at least in September...I am curious on your rational for SD State...in week 0...I know when you play a fave,   you must really like it...I have not researched SD State v Ohio yet...I will appreciate your rationale on that match up, and the pick, when you get the opportunity...Cheers and Hook em' Horns!

 hey pal. hope you are having a great summer. I think San Diego State will be motivated to make a statement and put the MWC on notice before they dip out...aside from that Ohio defense was so woeful at times last year, and this is quite the road trip to get things started. is kurtis rourke (ohio QB) healthy? they had a drop off without him last year, and I think San Diego State just is just plain ole a better team, 

I love what I saw from SDSU passing game time in and time out last year in the 2nd half of the season, 

just kind of a gut play, I dont want to back the bobs in this spot...

 Point of clarification...You have SJSU at under 5.5 wins, but you have them covering as 30 pt dogs in week 0 against USC...Is that more of a fade of USC and their D, and some time getting the USC office rolling...and that USC is a public team...Are my assumptions correct?   I attended the Cotton Bowl in Arlington on January 2, 2023, where USC lost to Tulane late...in a close game, that came down to about the last play...That had to be painful for USC...I understand Cordero is a respectable MW QB, but SJSU has lost a lot on D...On paper, this is huge mismatch...with USC only having hapless Nevada on deck...I think Lincoln Riley may not call off the dogs, until SC gets 60...with the caveat that SJSU will probably get at least 17...Part of me wants to go against you and back USC in week 0...Would love to get your perspective on this matchup and your rationale for backing SJSU...

 I’ll have to pay to see it. Just don’t believe USC will shut down  that SJ offense…it seems the time to hammer usc would be when Nevada comes to town, that is the team they will beat 66-13…

while I am bearish on Jose in SU regular season wins (could start 1-5) I think they cover this yuuuge line  I would have made it -27

Fair enough... I looked at the Box score...Final Score Tulane 46 USC 45...USC 

Here is the 4th quarter box score...

Tulane scored the last 16 points of the game with 4:07 remaining in the 4th quarter...Something tells me that Lincoln Riley is not going to let up on Offense...and the D for USC will play inspired...Granted Tulane had a good team, and USC was a -1 to -1.5 pt fave...It could go either way on the cover...I don't like backing these heavy public teams with this much chalk...but, on paper, this is a huge mismatch, and SC should be plenty motivated from the getgo...SJSU has a respectable coaching staff...I big stat game would kick off Williams Heisman campaign...I need to to do more research...

I also like @Vandy -17.5 over Hawaii in week 1...

Great find w UTEP 28-1, don't suppose that's still around somewhere is it?... gunna need to slay at least one huge dragon along the way but nothing seems THAT impossible in CUSA this year .. got similar reads on NILL, Navy, Cal, FAU.. hope 1 or 2 of them can turn the fun dial wayyyy up for us this year!!! .. good luck!

I see some 17/1 and 22/1 available, new mexico state is 38/1...seems like with a watered down CUSA anyone could win it sans FIU and the 2 ineligible squads.

mmm don't have the good UTEP odds woulds squashed them down if I did .. yeah saw NMSU was 40-1 at MGM took another bite have it 30 and 40 now  .. think we need Austin Reed to find a new calling as a Tibetan Monk for a year but 6 team conf gotta take the odds, seen weirder.. Vegas baby woop!!
