Woot, I didn't get to watch the game, but we're off to a 1-0 start this week. 10Pt win for ARKST (even tho apparantly they gave up like 21pts and scored only 3 in the sceond half??? )
Thanks Mega for the early jump start the week and the write ups. Don't usually like Tuesday games since it's always extremely a coin flip half the time.
i didn't see where he picked ark st ??????

Game is probably gonna go on the short list need time to think about it....BG is just so explosive 121 points last 2 games....#1 passing offense in the NCAA.....Now their last 2 road games were 7 pt win at Purdue and 6 pt win at Buff...so it is not unthinkable that Kent can keep this within 2 TD esp with that great D.....Their D ranked 18 vs run and 14 in pass eff D....Both teams take care of the ball....A properly motivated Kent squad could cause some problems - played Minny to a 3 pt game (only 142Y off tho) and lost an OT game to Marshall which was their best effort...Played poorly vs Miami oh WTF at home and escaped due to +3 in turnovers.....The wild card? Kent looking to start rFR George Bollas again at QB who brings a decent running dimension to the team and he completed 20 passes last wk......BG defense is pretty rotten so if they let Kent make some first downs and get some confidence it could be interesting at least against the spread.
Summary. Lean Kent at 14.5 or better. Not added to final card yet.

Hey Mega, I just wanna tell you how much I appreciate you being helpful and carrying on a conversation with as many as you can.. You are not full of yourself and you are not arrogant.. You don't throw your self a parade each week and down others for asking questions or giving comments! You ARE the BEST thing this site offers!! Thanks man..!
I wish more big guys on this site had some of what you posses, or would just drop in and leave great picks and bounce like CalBear, Rush, Big Giant Killer, ect... Some of the stuff that goes on here is ridiculous! But your thread is the same every single week and it's a breath of fresh cash-ola
THANKS A MILLION BUDDY !
We enjoy pulling the thread together every week and discussing the matchups with NCAA football junkies
Really appreciate the kind words. Never want to come across as a know-it-all because we ALL have knowledge to contribute and our dedicated subscribers always drop good intel in here. For example last week COMPOSITE asked about our Florida TT and we gave our rationale but guess what - HE WAS RIGHT - we made a bad pick and while we correctly have pegged LSU as a better passing team than they are given credit for - we neglected to give Florida enough credit for the mobility at QB Florida had and the poor special teams play. So Florida got some easy points BUT they all count and under 19.5 was a poor selection. And because we value everyone's opinion - guess what - you do not see him coming in here saying I told you so!
GL this week !! mega

You have to think that Ohio St is laying a few too many here - but you also have to think that Ohio St might start rolling now that JT is back at QB....Now the issue with that is the Ohio St run D has had some issues all year - and Rutgers has a nice balanced offense.....Need to watch if star WR Carroo is a go for Rutgers - 472Y and 9 TD in only 4 games this year he is a legit star so while we ignore injuries for the most part this one is a big deal if he cannot go - and do NOT trust the Rutgers injury report - 1/3 of the state of New Jersey is on the report this week as well as some of the beat reporters and a couple of extras used in the latest Bond movie........Rutgers can give Ohio St a battle for a while they have some players that can do damage on offense despite the fact you look at their schedule and only see wins over Norfolk St Kansas and Indiana (needed 22-0 4Q)......Ohio St should be able to put up some big time points to have to pass.
Summary. No leanage

This was one of our top 3 picks that we were stalking on Sunday - and yet another one let us down ....Line surprisingly high you would think at first glance but it is all about the matchup - not unlike last wk vs Minny - if Nebraska gets a one dimensional running team they can shut that down....And their offense is balanced enough to keep things moving....NW is an avoid team right now lost the last 2 games 78-10 combined and what a great game play iowa had last wk - run run run - pounded NW for 294 Y rushing and it didn't matter that their #1 rb got hurt - it was a steamroll and has to have NW shaking their heads.....Not sure what they are gonna do on offense in this one.
Summary. Value in NW but horrible matchup. Pass.

The "but their undefeated" guy will love temple this week and I must admit, I fall into that category lol I lean Temple but will lay off. Great points Mega. Mega is a hilarious guy seriously. I wonder how old he is and what he does for a living because his fluid sarcasm and sense of sarcasm is unmatched on here. I remember a couple weeks ago when he wrote up Vandy vs MTSU he said "no lean on the side might be interested in the over if some kind of tout scum releases a play on the under" lmao I swear I was crying laughing when I saw that. Tout scum... Lmao Mega is crazy. GL this week Mega love the writeups. We all owe u $5 each just for the writeups and entertainment alone u deserve it

Michigan St. seems to be playing to the level of their competition this year and Indiana seems much improved over previous years. Furthermore, Mich St. is coming off of the win of a lifetime. I feel like this week will be the ultimate hangover for them... Thoughts?
I'd lean +17 for sure. MSU's secondary has been dismantled. 1 Safety is out for the year, best cover corner is out for the year. The other season opening corner D. Hicks is questionable, he sat out last week due to a concussion, MSU moved the other opening night starter at Safety to the nickle due to poor play. They started 2 TRUE Freshman at Michigan last week and sounds like those 2 will start again Saturday. The front 4 is going to have a monster game to slow down the passing attack for Indiana. Indiana is a very bad matchup for the MSU D.

Need to watch the weather. 70% Chance of showers in East Lansing Saturday. MSU may try and control the game on the ground if that is the case. I'd be waiting on that over/under until Friday night.

Lean to the over and the dog in this one.....not sure what to do with this one yet if anything but we are starting to warm up to the game
Mich St has given up 20+ in every game this year except for one - and Indiana is a force on offense even if howard does not go at RB - backup had 99Y and 2 td and they found a way to get 50 points on Rutgers....Now I know we seem picky all the time - but the thing we do not like beside Indiana defense - is that while Mich St is in a huge letdown spot - what about Indiana? sounds silly? well they blew a huge lead last wk Rutgers outgunned them 22-0 in the final quarter and that had to be a killer - even more so because the hoosiers want to be bowl eligible - it seemed like a certainty - but after losing 3 straight they are 4-3 with sparty iowa Michigan to come - so there is not much margin for error the rest of the way - now that may have nothing to do with this game - except that we hope their mindset is ok.....Given the state of the Sparty D and their injuries as MJONES pointed out in the thread - the smart play may be the over because Indiana D is pretty bad (HOT TAKE) and Sparty can be MATRICULATED UPON in the passing game....but again - we seem and too uncertain - but the weather does indeed not look great - not going to panic - but it looks like rain and pretty strong wind - 18mph or so....Gonna let this one simmer overnight in the megalocks slow cooker and see what we think tomorrow.
Summary - lean Indiana at +17 or better. Lean over no higher than 63.
