It was a gift from the gambling gods. Having a team go into a championship game without the OC  they had all year is something you'll never see again

Bama is going to miss Kiffin.  Sark isn't nearly as good.

Clemson was the better team so get over it...If you're still laughing and claimed to "remortgaged the house on Clemson", then there are truly two losers in this game, you and your boy Kiffin.

Dude they had the lead 90% of game. Offense was fine until scarbourough got hurt. He's an 18 year old QB and they still almost won. a bit much. Not like kiffin was lighting up the world with world class athletes and O line.

the people making comments about lane kiffin also making the defensive calls make me laugh.


lane kiffin would have not let the worst QB in college football aka jalen hurts throw that much in the 3rd and 4th quarters. did not even come close to getting FG's in those plays.

You have to look at the OC for this loss, its on him, they needed to put up more points like last year.

The defence of Alabama was the defence everyone and their dog expected. Clemson rolled over them last year, and they were going to roll over them again this year. Watson was going to have a field day with this secondary and that's exactly what happened. The offensive play calling for Bama was horrible and that is what cost them the game

I disagree.....I think Sark did a helluva a job game planning this and playing/utilizing Hurts the way he should have with more uptempo and mix in play action.....genius....but the fact of the matter was, if Kiffin were calling the game, the score would have be 27-17 or 30-20 something like that.....

Clemson, pure and simple is the better team and Vegas set a large trap with that line for the sheeple and ESPN accolytes who follow what the pundits say.....

I hope it was a lesson to everyone....do your own DD!!!

Don't think I'd call Saban a Bozo but having a new voice calling plays in the biggest game in CFB didn't make sense to me.  I was on Bama until I learned of the move and switched over to Clemson.

Because of the play calling and execution by the offense, the Bama defense was "Gassed" in the fourth quarter.  Clemson ran an unbelievable 99 plays because the offense couldn't stay on the field.  Alabama had only two drives longer than two minutes.  JK Scott punted 11 times with 7 in third and out situations.  QB Jalen Hurts was just 13 of 31 for 131 yards and half of those yards came on one play.

I give all the credit in the world for Clemson's defense playing all out but I believe the got an assist from Alabama's offensive plan.

IT WAS JUST 2 GOOD TEAMS GOING AT IT PLUS WHERE WAS THE DEFENSE ON THE FINAL DRIVE?

Lane Kiffin did a great job at Alabama during his three years...especially when you consider the quarterbacks he had to work with.

I didn't think Sark's game plan was especially great but he was put in a difficult and pressured situation.  After next season, we should have a better understanding of his abilities leading Alabama's offense.  I believe he will do well but you can bet your best pair of boots if he doesn't....Saban will replace him.

I'm not gonna join into the whining and handing out blame that's going on here because I think Clemson winning was great snf good for college football. And i'm not gonna jump on Hurts because he accomplished a lot as a true freshman. To that point though, I thought it weird all year that Alabama even went with a freshman at QB.

bama is a great team thats why they in it every year!! thumbs up saban,,,and clemson was beast last few years!  great game  wish it stayed under!!!!! lol

Agree with you Julio.  During lunch today, a couple of my wagering friends and I went over Alabama and Clemson's roster.  Alabama as you said will be strong as always.  The Tigers have a good chance to be really good if Dabo can find a quarterback.

Clemson will be challenged by Florida State next season for big dog in the ACC. 

Alabama's defense will be hell on wheels again next year.

la game s'est terminé  avec une seconde  à  jouer  gros cave  d'idiot
le point tournant  a été  le  field goal  au lieu  d'un touchdown,et bama a scoré trop rapidement  laissant trop  de temps  à  clemson  de revenir .....
