I just dont think offensive play calling had much to do with the final score. it comes down to a suspect secondary unable to keep up with the explosive Clemson WR group. The bama d-line kept them in it for 3 quarters and protected the CBs with great pass rush, but by the time the 4th hit they were just too tired to keep that up all game (and then all that scoring started.)
dont get me wrong, the playcalling didnt help, but that's the 2nd or 3rd place I'd look for answers.

If you don't think the offensive co-ordinator had anything to do with this one, you are delusional. Bama is a clock control team, eating up yards and first downs. Sark was able to muster up 16 first downs total (Clemson had 31)
Sark couldn't control the clock, Clemson had 10 more minutes of possession.
Bama punted 10 times
These are key stats that Bama usually dominates, but the play calling didn't allow them to be successful.
Gotta give a ton of credit to the Clemson defense, but Kiffin would not allowed those type of stats to be put up.

His big ego got in the way when he fired Kiffin. To fire an offensive coordinator 1 week before the final will go down as the biggest bone headed fuckk up in the history of the game. People will always remember this one when the dust settles on Saban's career. . What a bozo.
Kiffin showed up to the team meeting before the Washington game drunk, so drunk they had to give him 3 IV bags to sober him up.. Combine that with the players meeting with Saban after that game pizzed off at Kiffin for his attitude and prep, they wanted him replaced with sark for the NCG.. Saban took it a step further and fired Kiffin..
Sark did just fine, Clemson hammered the Bama weak points and had a great game plan.. Hurts has a problem reading defenses and played tighter and tighter as he got closer to the NCG.. Pretty typical for a True Freshman.. Saban will sign his 8th #1 recruiting class in this Dynasty since 2008 this year. Bama will be there again, and will win it again.. That's what makes Bama fans feel good and not sweat this loss to much. Roll Tide

I have a relative who works in Alabama's athletic department. I find it strange you claiming Kiffin showed up to meeting drunk when members of the athletic department have never heard of such a baseless claim.
Maybe you can tell the forum your sourse?????

My source is a GA on the team. It's 100% true! You don't have to believe it, nobody does, but it's not the first mistake Kiffin has made. He had been fukin a smokin hot blonde bartender for months and coming to practice hung over, Kiffin and Saban had agreed this was the last year no matter what. Saban asked him when he got the Florida Atlantic job if he was gonna "dedicate" himself to the team and finish out. Kiffin agreed and then was late to every meeting, missed the team bus when they left for Atlanta, and then showed up to the team meeting so hung over they had to give him 3 IV bags. During the Iron Bowl the team had lost faith in his play calling so bad that Cam Robinson stood up at halftime in the locker room and grabbed the marker from him and said "if you don't start running the ball behind us we are gonna call our own plays".. Saban let it happen! And then praised Cam Rob for being influential in changing the chemistry of the team at the half. The team met with Saban after the wash game (Hurts, Cam Rob, Allen, Ridley, and more team leaders) and told him they were concerned that Kiffin had checked out. Saban met with Kiffin and that was behind closed doors. But it was reported Saban was yelling at Kiffin directly after the game before the players ever came to him. They took to Sark the day he came and slowly distanced themselves from Kiffin. That is the 100% true story! If you choose not to believe it, that's your prerogative. Kiffin was great for UA until the very end. Seems he didn't learn the things he says he did.
