GAM you are correct they really fizzled toward the end of the year... I went through the whole season and calculated DD dogs including a few that closed at say -9.5 results overall were a measily 50% 10-10-2 as a whole compared to the last few years which had been closer to 60%
However if you just removed Florida from the equation 1-5 record. Then it would be 9-5-2 Now I'm not saying I did that obviously... as I got beat quite a few times getting points against Florida in the SEC including Arkansas, Kentucky, Vanderbilt...but at that point I dropped them from my system of SEC dogs as they proved they were a covering machine in my eyes. I stayed neutral on the South Carolina game and laid the wood against Bama.
SEC dogs in the bowls have had a promising record if you look back the past few years...But does it end this year? well that's anyones guess.
