bracks - appreciate it, fan of that RU OL as well, looking forward to that write up and any thoughts on the QB situation and WRs, still trying to get a better feel for the team

looks like some others are posting prior year records so I'll do the same - if nothing else so that any newcomers are now aware in advance that I lose a lot of games every year as the vets around here already know

2007 - 146-122 (24-7 large) (+44.3 units)

2008 - 158-111 (29-18 large) (+38.0 units)

Texas 55 ULM 7 - not much commentary needed for this one, Horns 4-2 ATS versus current sun belt teams since 2003, ULM breaking in 3-3-5 defense NM played well for years
 
Purdue 28 Toledo 16 - tough to go under on first glance with Toledo usually bad defenses, Rockets 10-4 under last 14 though and Beckman (former DC) appears to be emphasizing defense more in his talks, Boilers 15-8-1 under last couple years in spite of being known for passing and tempo
 
working on remaining 11 scores and comments after road trip

That auburn line really surprised me...I was expecting to see 15-17.  And I love that LSU play.  BOL NOS

Hey Maine!  You gotta like your boys' chances this year after their mega spending spree, eh?   I can understand picking the pockets of United, Arsenal, and Barca, but do you have to go and pick on my poor Everton boys, too?    We need Lescott more than you do!

like the plays so far nostra... ihaven't been on covers for a football season, so am looking forward to getting to know some of the better football cappers here.. looks like you know your stuff... anyone else you'd recommend to check out here as well?
 
btw, i also like the fl st. line.

I don't disagree, BID.  I certainly wasn't attracted to City for all of it's money and glory, so it's kind of hard to come to terms with basically being the Chelsea of the North.  I hope your boy stays put.

Not big on laying points, but I agree with LSU, ARZ, OREGON,GEORGIA,TN,UCONN.
 
I would look again at the Auburn -12 vs LA TECH.  LA TECH finished strong in 08

bookie - for sure 2007 was a very strange year to try and handicap especially the first 8-9 weeks
 
skanless - there's many good cappers in CFB, too many to mention and some other threads on it, some with good insight don't post plays much like garfather, pags11, etc. If you're referring to the FSU-MiaFL total yeah lean under however last 2 matchups have been turnover fests leading to high scores with only medium yds and not feeling good either team can take care of the ball

Tulsa 38 Tulane 17 - considering this one since it opened, sure Tulane will be looking for revenge for last year's 56-7 beating, just like they were after earlier 49-25, 38-3 and 38-14 losses in series 2005-07, Green Wave does not defend the run well not good when playing Tulsa (489 rushing yds last year, 281 in 2007), DL Scott and DB Sonnier suspended for first two games just found today as some injury reports getting more updated

Nos, if you dont go 290-1 or better this season I am going to create umpteen aliases and harass you to no end I expect atleast a +400 unit season

You can have Adebayor and Toure. Arsenal is much better without them dragging us down

bibendi - probably a few of those already lurking, at mostly one unit wagers my goal each year is 30 units, pretty good at getting there last few years, we'll see  how this one goes
 
byrd, ice - Tulane pretty banged up on DL with Scott out, DE Kelley missing a couple weeks and reserve DL Bell and Bryant out, DB Sonnier a good tackler likely to be missed as well. QB Kemp has looked pretty good in camp though
 
not much happening on the camp or injury reports for teams already locked in so far anyway- a couple will be monitoring
 
Arizona - RB Grigsby sprained ankle left on crutches(questionable), might reduce (offset) wager if he cannot go although Antolin is quality backup so probably not
 
Tulsa - will double check QB and couple OL spots as fall camp goes along, might reduce wager if not looking good
 
Nebraska 48 FAU 17 - Owls usually have problems stepping up in class although able to against decent CMU and Rice in bowl games, push against Mich St in the slop and beat Minny couple years ago. FAU defense not equipped to take on balanced offenses and 4.4 ypc and 64% comp, unless QB Lee is horrible Huskers should dominate and have played well in openers last 3 yrs
 
Wisconsin 38 No Illinois 13 - looking for Badger OL at 6'7 315 across to handle NIU DL in 270 range that gave up 145 yds to RB Brown in the spring game, not that much has changed since 2007 matchup 44-3 (431-99 yds, 331 rushing yds) even though NIU was depleted somewhat that day with injuries, barring Wisky QB collapse Badgers should control this one

only thing that scares me is having to replace Tarrion Adams... that guy was such a workhorse for Tulsa the last two years... i'm not as worried about replacing David Johnson, because Tulsa seems to just plug in new QBs to that system and not miss a beat...
 
really a strange game to cap, in my opinion... still leaning Tulsa, though... especially with the injuries and suspensions...
