Come on people. It's not rocket science. IF he is using the Massey Ratings for his "better" defense angle, it's extremely easy to just look at Massey.

Yes. Post 78 is correct. Those are the teams with the best Massey defense ratings on the games today

I thought this was based off of opponents yards per play? I have:

WV 78th

Syracuse 80th

So West Virginia?

If I’m wrong ok, but can the creator of this site chime in if he’s alive lol.

Massey is updated after every game, so if you try to back check it the teams may have flip flopped (like TCU and CAL).

Hey Race.  I'm sure you're going to have to explain this again.  They probably think you mean to take the higher number!  I can't believe how difficult some people try to make this when it is incredibly easy.

Take the the better ranked team according to Massey and since almost every bowl team that covers the spread wins the game, (19-1 so far this year) if the better ranked defense is a dog bet the money line.

Doesn't matter at all since the winning team almost always covers the spread in bowls.  Especially in the early bowls.

Mneel, your a genius sir.. The championship games should be interesting since there such huge spreads.  Good luck the rest of the bowl season.  Hopefully, the strategy continues to kill it.

We simply need in the first  posts to explain how. So here it’s based off of Maseys, simply not stated earlier on and not clear. 

There are many factors when looking at which team has better defense. Here used Maseys, got it. I’m new to the forum and how would I know what system you use if you don’t tell us  where you get your info. Not going to read 50 posts, put it at the beginning. This would be very helpful. Anyway goodluck today all.
