cuz they could run the ball freely.....they wont be able to run so easily against this buckeye team....2 or 3 t.o. IMO

I love my Buckeyes, but our shit-fest offense will do nothing against a pretty good PSU D....lock down Pryor's #1 receiver and just wait for a sack/interception.

On the other hand, if JT decides to actually open the playbook like he did against NMST, things may be different.

Either way, I see another close game like last year......can't wait.

Anyone who wants to lay money on Pryor is a moron.  Cant read a defense to save his life.  Now u want to go into PSU and win?  He strugles to complete 50% of his passes against bad teams.  PSUs Oline is coming together and Clark is really nsync with the wide recievers.

How many points did OSU score against that USC D that has given up 80 pts the last 2 games???

Penn St and the under

I have been an OSU fan for 25 years.  5-0 record this year ATS on OSU including taking the points vs Purdue (USC, Toledo, Wisconsin, Purdue, and 1st half last week)

Although Penn St's offense does not impress me that much, I have been extremely impressed with the accuracy and decision-making of their QB.  This kid is a good qb and an outstanding leader.  On the other side you have a kid who has not found a rythym all year.  He is inconsistent, stares down receivers, looks uncomfortable in 3rd downs, and perhaps most importantly, throws the majority of passes to one receiver.  Yes, I know he is from Penn and will want to play well.  The problem is that he is not good at this time.  He will be facing a tough defense too.  Someone said that Tress might open the playbook up, but history proves that theory incorrect.

the usc D today and usc D week 2 are two diff animals.....sc has gotten beaten up....bad...not trying to defend em believe me....but that have gotten hurt

Ive been around along time and I know u love your team. But your offense DID NOT get better. If Pryor cannot do better than 11-23 for 135 and a TD against NMS then I dont know how he can do better against PSU and Iowa the next 2 weeks. He was put in posistion to throw for 300 yards and he didnt. Saine rushed 7 times for 13 yards, he didnt get better, Boom rushed 5 times for 13 and fumbled against NMS starting defense, he didnt get better. He did have a 53 yard run against backups at the end of the 3rd quarter. The OSU kicking game went 1-5, they didnt get better.

An impressive showing for OSU offense against that shit team is Pryor completing 60% of passes (which he is incapable of doing) and throwing for 200 yards at least. Boom or Saine combining for 150-200 yards. The only offensive players who got better or produced were Hall and Carter in the 4th quarter which they should do....those 2 got better. The defense never had to defend the pass, so they had the day off. They can stop the run in their sleep and we know that. 

Usually the boxscore doesnt tell the tale of a game to those who didnt watch but this game does. Im dissapointed in you Tressel becuase this was the same stuff that I brought up during the in-game thread on Saturday but you had no rebuttles then. But now on Tuesday your qouting me and highlighting/bolding my statement. As if I pulled this out of my ass....Come on now
