Ohio State/Maryland Live Play

I took tOSU at -2.5 live.

This is the 3rd week in a row a college team has went for 2 and cost me a play. WV did it two weeks ago to me. OK State did it to me last week. Now Maryland.

What are the chances?

thought for sure Maryland were going for 2 if they scored, it was the right call for them.

Sometimes the numbers aren’t what tells the story. It’s the feel; it’s understanding the overall picture. My hunch was on the line there here but seeing Maryland go for 2 and “miss” an easy 2 point there there.....the hunch stays alive. What’s the hunch? It’s always been that this year Michigan would write the ship, get their revenge in multiple games and get their chance of beating a corrupt p.o.s coach who has done more bad than good for football. The best part....it’s gonne be at the shoe. If Michigan takes care of business today, it’s on next Saturday. 

Now 9-6 on the college season.

My opinion here and I’m probably in the minority because I believe some games and some situations aren’t won on  field: I feel with Harbaugh laying down year after year to his foes in the Big Ten and in bowl games (remember the Florida State bowl game lay down) and allowing his peers success at his programs disposal, it’s his year. I would be very surprised if Michigan doesn’t get in after pounding Michigan State, Wisconsin and Penn State. If they beat Ohio State at the shoe and then win the conference championship, they get in. Listen, I think Bama is amazing but if they lose and ND gets in without a loss, how can you take Bama over Michigan when Michigan’s SOS is better, Michigan’s only loss was to ND in game one and if Michigan wins the conference and Bama doesn’t, I dont think there is a discussion at all. Bama beat LSU and that’s it. If they lose to Georgia they should be out. Personally, I think the playoff would do much better without Bama in it because you would get 4 teams with all teams having a great shot at the title. We will soon see bit we still have some ball to go.

Personally, I’d love to see a rematch of ND and Michigan in that playoff.

Again I hope they get in but Fuckeyes getting tits lit by Purdue and needing Maryland to hand them a one point win doesn’t help us.  I can’t see any way a 1 loss Bama isn’t in so that means to me Michigan needs to win out and hope Bama beats Georgia or Clemson or ND lose.

The media has shoved Bama down the public’s throats all year but if Bama is to lose, I think it comes in the playoff. I would not be surprised if Bama doesn’t win it all this year. If Michigan gets in, watch out. That’s all I’m saying.....

Despite media hype, Bama is real good and we really cant say anything bad about them based on their schedule...their merits will have to be earned in the upcoming made for tv reality show known as the playoffs...Bama Clemson should be the finals but its football and kids...anything can happen when the wrong zebras have access to flags and whistles (and sometimes even index cards)

Totally agree here. I’d be very surprised if the public has to watch another Bama/Clemson matchup and in that thinking, it will take some puppeteering work to steer clear of that situation. We’ve seen that happen before so I have to believe, we see some new blood this year hoisting that trophy.

I have a very significant future been sitting on all year for Clemson to make the playoffs...i couldnt ask for anything more at the moment...with that potentially hitting, todays Osu game falling into my lap for a very nice amount, i really couldnt be more happy with how this season has played out from a betting pov...football weekly grinding it out isnt where i excel, but its been more hit than miss this season, just like you...cream rises while peanuts sink.

Baby boy has been a very good sleeper these past 3 weeks...fam is all great and we are looking forward to the holiday season ... hope the same for you and yours peace_5

Michigan allows the least amount of yards against them in college football now.

Bama has only beat LSU. Clemson hasn’t had much competition either. ND hasn’t beaten anyone of substance other than Michigan. For me, all the top teams are there because of name recognition but when talking about Michigan, of the top 4 teams right now, is there a team with a better SOS? Michigan has dominated Wisconsin, Michigan State and Penn State....all by over 14 points a piece. I agree though....it comes down to next weekend. By the way....I took your Clemson boys -13 second half. Hopefully they close this out in dominating fashion.

Big Michigan fan here too. I am not surprised that Ohio State almost got beat. Maryland lives off of big running plays. Ohio State's biggest weakness is giving up big plays. Very bad matchup for the Buckeyes. I called it last week in an Ohio State vs Mich. St. thread.

And, I'm not at all surprised that Michigan had so much trouble against Indiana. Been a trend for several years. Indiana has one of the best red zone defenses and look, Mich. kicks 6 FG's. Was surprised the defense gave up so much.

The Ohio State game is going to be tough. Michigan NOT a big play team, they would rather grind it out. Ohio State defense likes that better. Going to be very close game if turnovers are held in check.
