yep also made it up with Bama second half

Had a small play of TE Smiley -10 yds vs LSU TE and i haven't checked yet but i am sure that won too

Who would you crown the National Champion if not Alabama?

Who is the Big 12 going to have next year? Sooners maybe?

LSU has a bunch of sophomores and a QB who can throw the ball next year. They will be better than they were this year.

Alabama will be damn good as well. Georgia will be better and Florida and Auburn will be better. SEC will shit all over the Big 12 or Big8 whatever it is now

Oklahoma State is a high school compared to Alabama and LSU -not even close to being on the same level.

I don't even like the big12 but I know what I saw tonight. There aren't enough FG's in the world that would make either of these teams beat OSU or Stanford.

If Oklahoma State would have score 30, then Bama would have scored 90 on that shitty defense Okie State has.

Agree 100%. Big 12 got so fucked. This game was worse then the first time. OSU was clearly the best team in the nation.

If Mettenberger lives up to his potential next season, LSU has to be the favorite to make a return trip.  I would give them the edge over Alabama right now.

Sorry, as a huge OK St fan, there is no way they would have even been able to field a team with either of these teams.  Everyone would be injured...

I disagree that osu couldnt put points up with blackmon vs. anyone. Blackmon is going to be the next calvin johnson and there's not one , or even two guys on either team that could ever handle him. Im not saying osu wins the game, they probably get manhandled on the ground game by both, but it certainly would have been more interesting to see a 48-34 game than 21-0

Hey i would've loved seeing Ok St. in the NC game but truth be told they didnt deserve to be.  Losing to Cyclones was the nail in the coffin for their National Championship hopes.

Do i think they wouldve gotten points against either of these team, absolutely.  The game would've been completely different from top to bottom.

Blackmon will be a beast in the NFL but not to the magnitude that Calvin Johnson is.  Blackmon is only 6'1" Johnson is 6'5" thats a massive discrepancy.  I love Blackmon and think he is a legit top 5 draft pick and will have a huge impact on any team he goes to, but i wouldnt compare him to Megatron...  More like a Terrell Owens (without the dick face attitude) in his prime.

    Degen-

Blackman is a stud but if your QB can't get him the ball because he is running for his life or getting sacked then they won't score against these kinds of defenses.

I think it's obvious the SEC damaged their brand tonight. All everybody is talking about is how bad these teams are. It kind of reminds me when Florida beat Ohio St. a few years back. It exposed the Big10 and voters quit voting for them. This will have the same effect. I think the SEC is the big loser tonight not LSU.

Man Both Bama & LSU averaged 30 points a game fool.  And Okie State has one of the worse defenses in the country.  Bama would have won 55 -17 over Okie State.  ha ha ha.

2 different classes of football man, you don't know shit about football.  Tell Okie State to beat Iowa State first before they can even think about beating anybody else.

I guess no one read my post about OSU's defense.

I believe they led the nation in take aways.

    Historian

What you saw was two of the best defenses in the country- and one of those (Bama's) could be argued as being one of the best ever.

Two different types of football. Big 12- wide open fast paced vs SEC grind it out smash mouth-

SEC defenses - legit    Big 12 defenses- horrible

Why can't you see that- i guess the Bear, Giants, Cowboys, and all those smash mouth super bowl champions sucked because they didn't score 40+ points a game?

If you did bet on tonight's game hopefully you won and can go buy yourself a CLUE!

Might have something to do with the fact that their offense scores touchdowns at like a 3 minute clip on average so theyre on the field way more then any other Defense in the country.

    agree

I had a lot of respect for LSU defense tonight
