What is your basis for this prediction? Did you do any analysis of the game, or are you just seeking opinions? I think Oklahoma will win, but I seriously doubt it will be a blow out.

Yeah not decided yet if i play against mizzou this week but this thread sure did not help. Coffman being out is a huge loss for mizzou not like they really play much defense so need the offense at full strength

this is how you defend missouri with speed and a good defensive line the can generate quaterback pressure. and oklahoma has that. kansas to me was weak and were finally exposed. to me it didn't matter if kansas or missouri made it to the big 12 championship both team would lose to oklahoma. missouri defense isn't good enough to hold oklahoma from scoring and i don't think missouri scores enough to get the W. oklahoma by 10 to 17 points..... the funny thing is i hate the Sooners and missouri has been my money maker year in and year out. but i'm fading them. 3 on a neutral field...... you'll have alot more sooners fans as they travel better.

Missouri wins this one. Missouris was ahead of Oklahoma at the end of the third quarter 24-23 last game and then was outscored 18-7 in the 4th quarter. Oklahoma scored first in the 4th quarter then the big swing in the game came shortly after when Missouri fucked up an easy handoff and fumbled the ball deep in Missouri territory where Oklahoma recovered the ball and took it in for a touchdown. After that Missouri failed to move the ball the next drive then Oklahoma chewed up the clock with the running game. Missouri also had a 3 costly interceptions in the game. I am here to tell you that if Missouri does not turn the ball over they will beat Oklahoma. Of course turnovers are a part of the game but take away the turnovers and Missouri probably would have won last time. Missouri had more offensive yards than Oklahoma. I know it is points that count and not offensive yards but I believe we see a different outcome this weekend. Go ahead and put your monney on Oklahoma but you will be on the wrong side when the game is over.

So what if more Sooner fans come down than Mizzou fans? Your still gonna have a huge Texas and Austin crowd that will cheer Mizzou just because it's Oklahoma playing.

OU without Demarco Murray (Out with dislocated Kneecap) They didnt need him against Oklahoma St. but they will wish they had him against Missouri.
Since the game is played at a Neutral site neither team really has a crowd advantage. But one thing to remember is the game is in SAN ANTONIO TX. Alot of people at this game from Texas will be rooting for MIZZOURI because they hate OU.
Mizz will win this game. 31-28. Cant believe Mizz will make it to the National Championship.

I am taking Missouri. What on earth would anybody think that OU can stop the pass? I haven't seen any evidence of that this year. They lost their QB against Texas Tech, not their DB's. Texas Tech had 27 at half time. Missouri will have at least that.

How many texas fans in the Alamo Dome will support the Sooners? NONE........ That house will be pulling for MIZZOU and AGAINST OU.........
Actually there will be a lot of Sooner fans in the crowd. Most of the players on OU's team are from Texas and their friends and family will be there to cheer them on. I think the crowd will be about 50-50 but definately not pro Mo.

Oklahoma will travel a lot better to San Antonio than Mizzou fans - so I think the crowd will be pro-Sooners if anything.
Not having Coffman for the Tigers is huge, he had a great day against OU last time around - but who knows, he could still play.
The big boon for the tigers is getting Temple back for this game who didn't play against OU in the first game and the Tiger rushing attack was abyssmal... This balances out well for MU who won't have to see Murray in the OU backfield.
Missouri also boasts a better special teams with Maclin and Wolfert easily better than their Sooner counterparts.
In the first game Chase had 3 turnovers and Maclin had 1 on a dumb call to have the WR throw the ball out of the backfield. Another of the turnovers was also just stupid with the fumble deep in MU territory on the botched handoff that led to an easy 6 for the Sooners. Daniels will probably not have a flawless game, but those were game deciding turnovers that should helped cost the Tigers the game in Round 1 and should not happen again.
Add in the fact that the 1st game was played in Norman which is nightmarish for any team in the country to try to come in and play ball - especially a starstruck Tiger team that "thought" they could play with the Sooners, compared to a neutral site with a team that now "knows" they can play with the Sooners and I agree that MU +3 is one hell of a gift. I wouldn't lay points to this team, Coffman or not.
Also remember that psychologically for the Tigers, they expected to compete for the Big 12 Title this year and winning the North is not what they were playing for. Being in the NC hunt is an enormous deal but I don't think they are tested now and should not be intimidated by all the drama and attention this game is getting.

Not to take your side but when Mizou played Illonis Ill was going in for a touchdown and fumbled and Mizou recovered and went the distantence for a TD. That turned everything around or Mizou would have lost that game for sure, luckly turnovers win games.

edit a: but those were game deciding turnovers that cost the Tigers the game in Round 1
edit b: but I do think they are tested now
The Illinois game did hinge on late crucial turnover by Pig, yes. That was earlier in the season when Mizzou's defense was comical and also against a not so bad Illinois team.

This year has been starnge--everyone wants to kill someone else.
Only Hawaii has avoided this CURSE--probably because they're not on the Mainland (??)
Chase Daniel's numbers were impressive, and Kansas did have good numbers for their defense--ok, rel. poor competition, + their offense keeps the chains moving, so their defense rests.
I think Okla can exploit Missouri's weaknesses, and I do not like this game at all, from a wagering standpoint.
BUT IF SOMEONE LIKES MISSOURI, for God's sake, bet the fucking ass moneyline
