I'm waiting for HappyKane's biorhythm charts to come out on the game before I bet it.  I think Oklahoma will win but I really want Mizzou.  Probably will end up taking Mizzou plus the points.  Earlier I was going to bet OK, that way I would not mind losing as much because it would keep you-know-who OUT of the BCS but leaning toward that +3 now.  Will be doubly unhappy to lose that bet.

First time around Misssouri outgained OU 418-384. OU enjoyed +2 turnover margin that helped them pull away in the 4th. Neither team ran the ball for sh*t untill the Sooners got some yards in the 4th. Daniel finished 37-47 for 361. Missouri covered +13.5. OU 1-4 ATS away from home...Missouri 4-0 ATS away. My feeling right now is that Missouri and V. Tech are going to both exact some revenge this weekend.

uh...not quite bro...  Missouri traveled so well to Arrowhead for the Mizzou-KU clash that it seemed like a "home" game for mizzou, instead of Kansas.  Keep in mind, Kansas was allowed twice as many student-tickets and Mizzou still found away to have more fans show up.  I think Mizzou would show up Sooner Nation on this one.  They are pumped...and they should be. 

Pressure for both teams are evened out...only because OU needs this win to set themselves up for a BCS berth...and obviously we know about Mizzou's case.  I wouldn't be surprised if Mizzou won this one b/c it's tough to beat an opponent TWICE in one season...let alone a team as talented as Mizzou is....and this is coming from Jayhawk faithful...no bullsh*t here guys..

I dont think this is a 'make or break ' game for the books, and I dont think they need this to 'make up' for anything else.

Being a Sooner fan, my opinion may be biased but I feel like if it is a close game (1-5 points) Mizzou wins. If over the 6, then OU wins. Yeah, that really helps out the bettors but hey, that's what I'm here for - to confuse even more - ....
 
On the injury front, Muarry being out will slow the Sooners offense but the bigger question is, Will Auston English play. He is still day-to-day but it seems to me that he will play a limited number of snaps. He is OU's best pass rush DE and had 2 sacks against Mizzou earlier. Without English, Daniel could pick OU apart.
 
For those that are taking into account the previous meeting and saying that Mizzou beat themselves or whatever ( Granted, they made mistakes, but to me, it is just part of the game ) you should also look at the fact that OU held a a 18 point lead late in the fourth quarter before surrendering a prevent defense late TD. Either way, OU made the plays to win the game and Mizzou didn't.
 
It should be a good one and it kind of sucks for the Big XII to miss out on the big payday in the title game but I see another OU conference title, then another poor showing in a BCS game.

Not much is worse than having your team win getting Ohio State into the national championship game.  I think everyone in America, except the Ohio State buckeye fans, would rather watch two goo offensive teams get after it.  I will obviously be rooting for the Sooners, but it wouldn't exactly break my heart too put a Big 12 yeam in contention over Ohio State.

Granted those mistakes were just part of the game - however those were both really dumb plays that Missouri has not been liable to do all season. I think the chances are they don't let Maclin throw and they don't botch a handoff on their own 5.

I agree that the English injury is potentially big - he was a terror to the Tigers in the last game.

Mizz supporters.  A thing to remember.  The case could easily be made that Kansas beat themselves, not that Mizz beat them.  Kansas missed 2 field goals and threw an interception in the endzone that later resulted in a Mizz score.  If you add those points to the game, then Kansas is the team playing OU not Missouri.

 

I only bring this up because of all the "missouri beat themselves last time" talk I keep reading.

 

As an OU fan, my opinion is biased, but if OU can run the ball and Bradford stays healthy, then this is an easy OU victory 7+.  The defense for OU will be the key to this one.  Specifically stopping Temple.  MIssouri will get their yards and score some points, The defense will need to force some 3rd and longs and then hold them  and force them to punt.  I think they can and will.  Hopefully English can play that would help alot.

Lastly, who was the poster that said Missouri has better people at the skill positions?  Not sure where you're coming from but enjoy fantasy land there buddy.

You could say the same for Daniel and well, about 80% of all CFB teams. Just because it happened against Texas Tech, it gives you something to say.

I am a diehard Sooner, but I am also a realist.  I have never felt less confident in our boys in the Big 12 Championship.  I honestly feel like Mizzou might pull this one out.  Our defense has played poorly all year long, and our secondary has been getting lit up by anyone and everyone.  Hopefully, Austin English will be back to put some pressure on Chase Daniel.  I feel like our offense can score with anyone in the country.  The question is, can we stop them from scoring more?  Not sure if we can.  Nonetheless, I will be in San Antonio rooting our boys on.
