UCF has only trailed twice at halftime this year. Including this year's Memphis game, they also trailed Temple 34-28 at halftime. During the current UCF 24 game win streak, UCF has only trailed 3 times at halftime, Temple and Memphis this year, and Memphis again in last year's AAC title game, where UCF trailed Memphis 31-24 at the half. 

Memphis didn't injure Milton or did they? Can't blame Memphis here. I think Memphis smells blood with Milton out this time around. GL

I hedged and still profited. That’s the entire point of hedging. I came out with 25% more money on the RSW minus the Tulsa loss than you did sitting on your hands.

Aaaaaaand it was a clean tackle BY RULE. We all know that or there would have been a flag. It wasn’t a “tackle” at all though. The guy threw his body into Mitlon’s legs. It served as a chop block. Which IS a penalty. Why? It can end careers...just like this one did. (I also watched the play a dozen times on rewind so before you correct someone, know what is being discussed in detail).

And it’s fans like you and delusional refs who will penalize the slightest incidental head bump for targeting, and wouldn’t think of what happened on this play warrants even the remotest discussion. Enablers. And that’s why it will continue. And when it happens again, you’ll say the Sam: “It was clean!” Rinse and repeat and more careers end...

Courtesy, that Memphis +4.5 Over UCF was one of the sharpest sides of the year. Never in doubt and every point the books gave you was used to perfection (ie, it’s better to hit a side with the spread helping you or you would have profited more with the Memphis ML).

I see this side as no different. Wahoo

It is documented that it opened at 9 elsewhere.

“Vegas” as a term is meaningless as it has dozens of casinos and they typically wait for markets to settle. So opening at -4.5 is not a surprise.

It’s one of the reasons people told CollegeGambler NOT to go Ron vegas because he gets the worst lines (in this case, +4.5 backing Memphis instead of 9.5)

He didn’t listen....

You have any thoughts on the over 78.5 in the Oklahoma/Texas game Scalabrine? It looks to easy as Texas is not going to stop the Sooner offense, and the Sooner defense has no knowledge on how to tackle.

But a very big heavyweight title fight is tonight:

Deonte Wilder vs. Tyson Fury

I just got done watching several of Deonte Wilder's fights and I'll say this:

This is perhaps the most undisciplined 'champion' I've ever seen in the ring. A wild, 'always look for the knockout' puncher who has a poor jab and very little gameplan going into these fights.

He quickly goes down on the cards in most of his fights, requiring him to get a knockout (something he's amazingly done 39 of 40 times).

But this is no Mike Tyson. 

And Tyson Fury, undfeated himself has a great comeback story after a 2.5 year layoff, is also undefeated, has about 40 pounds and several inches in height and reach on Wilder.

If Tyson doesn't get knocked out he'll likely win by decision and at +135, I'm going to play him. 

Best of all 24 of 26 ESPN 'experts' picked Wilder to win the fight. You have to love that backing Tyson.

Line is now a FULL TD from the opening line to UCF -2.5 (as I said all week, I had this at a pickum and it is now functioning as a de facto pickum). And this is also a signifiant move off 3.

And yet, a resident Covers college football 'guru' Train states, in this thread:

The linemakers didnt make a mistake with the opening line.


Let the proof be in the pudding as to who knows what they are talking about when it comes to CFB...

I've been looking forward to this fight for a very long time.  The expert picks all over the world, not just ESPN, are heavily tilted in Wilder's favor, including many active professional boxers.  And for good reason.  

Take it from the reigning heavyweight king himself, Anthony Joshua..

Fury hasn't fought anyone credible in 3 years.  And he also blew all his money on alcohol and cocaine during that layoff you mentioned.  Oh and he ballooned all the way up to 400 pounds as well.  

When he out-pointed Klitschko he had the luxury of somehow taking Vlad's best weapons away due to his quick feet and "ugly" fighting style.  This can't happen tonight.  Wilder will not be afraid or too timid to throw bombs.  You could argue that this might get Wilder into trouble with Fury's counter punches, but if Luis Ortiz couldn't put Wilder down, I'm doubting Fury's chances.

Tyson was able to avoid Vlad's big right hand because he wasn't throwing it.  Wilder won't stop throwing it.  I managed to get down on Deontay Wilder at -150 on Thursday.  It's back to -175 last I checked.  When this bout was announced I expected -300/-400.  I think Wilder holds the value here.  Good luck holding your breath all night and hoping for a boring decision.
