Suspensions aside, do you really think that this is just some traffic issue. I understand the stance on marijuana in Oregon but I think this has to be looked at a little more serious than a traffic issue. And like I stated before DT has been in three traffic issues, 2 involving weed, and 1 where he and a friend tried to reenact Toyko Drift and crashed.
Again the last thing that I want in another UNC game. I would rather lose to Oregon than listen to that all over again.
he probably likes weed, along with about 75% of other college kids and athletes in the NCAA, I have no idea if he did anything wrong here and he clearly wasn't charged, my guess is he probably smoked up but who am I to judge with no evidence?
all I'm saying is that he won't be suspended for this issue

I truly hope that Thomas is allowed to play in this game.
I hope so too. They really don't have anything on him. He wasn't driving, and he even passed the field sobriety tests. Being in a car that has ganja smoke billowing out of it is not good, but he shouldn't be suspended for that. At least I don't think he should.

He was also in car with Eddie Pleasant in 2008 and Masoli in 2010 during those incidents as well..
DT seems to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time

All I know is that if I were driving while partaking of the ganja, I would have been going 25 mph on the interstate, and would have been heading in the wrong direction.

Hi guys I live in Oregon and here is the lasest article.....Harris' suspension was for driving for 118 miles per hour with a suspended license. Harris will miss at least Oregon's huge season-opening game against LSU, and Kelly isn't saying when he'll be back after that. Who knows what Kelly will decide, but since Harris is practicing with the team, it looks like Harris will be back sooner rather than later, but it's a shame for Ducks fans that Oregon's first 2011 game is against one of the best teams in the country.......
Luckily for the Ducks, the LSU passing offense was dreadful in 2010, and I’m going to go out on a limb and say that it won’t be a well-oiled machine right out of the gate in the first game of the season.

According to nola.com, Jefferson and redshirt OT Chris Davenport will be charged with felony 2nd degree assault, while starting junoir DT Josh Downs and freshman WR Jarvis Landry will be charged with misdemeanor simple assault.
I don't see how Jefferson could possibly play against Oregon.
