The one thing going for it is Oregon has been to the Rose Bowl and they learned how to get back to the big game.
Auburn hasn't been in a big game since the 90s. All the pressure is on Auburn as the media has already decided Oregon has no chance (see Cowherd this morning).
Chip Kelly is the better coach and has a month to prepare---so watch out. he is going to throw the AUB defense and special teams looks that they have never seen before. ORE has the speed if not more than AUB has seen before.
I was pretty square on AUB saturday as well, but think the cards line up for Oregon to cover this line.
Same thing happened last year---no one wanted to take TX at all in that game and the backup almost won it for them. Sure Bama covered, but nothing like expectations pregame.
Good luck.
Say what you want, but Auburn has one of the best overall coaching staff's in all of college football. If you think Kelly having a month to prepare is huge, wait until you get a load of what Gus Malzahn will have waiting the Ducks. I have made money off both teams this year, but it is all I can do right now to hold off a huge bet on Auburn with Malzahn, Newton, Dyer, McCalebb, Fanin, Adams, Zackery, Lutzinkirken, Blake and a very experienced, dominating offensive line. Throw in a hard hitting defense that will slow down the run and hit the QB and Auburn should win something like 45-31...
P.S. Oregon is as fast as there is, but so is Auburn and I would argue that Auburn has seen speed closer too Oregon then Oregon has seen when they face Auburn and will not be able to keep up...One thing I know for a fact and that is that Oregon has seen nothing like Newton who has several weapons as i said above and will beat you in a number of ways...Auburn 45...Oregon 31...

Let me add that auburn was in two pretty big games the past few weeks which you may not equate to the rose bowl, but beating Bama in Tuscaloosa and winning the SEC championship is about as big as it gets for Auburn. Yes, the BCS championship is big, but this team is not about to get rattled after everything they have been through...

man that total is huge. i was very curious to see what the books would post this at. i promised myself it the total is in the 70s i wasnt going to play the over, but now that i think about it, i just dont see how i can LAY OFF the over. i have to play it over, these two could easily get to 42. man what a matchup...

Man, you made my head hurt. Oregon may win but it will have little or nothing to do with what you posted...the correlation of Oregon and Auburn that you use is meaningless in this game...

Auburn has superior lines of scrimmage both ways in this game, so edge to AU before the whistle. Oregon is a running offense and AU D has stuffed some exceptional RB talent this season and I lean toward seeing that in the NC game also. That said, AU's D has shown lapses in tackling fundamentals in every game. Small backs like LaMichael James can hide behind blockers and peel off arm tackling defenders who reach out too late. That's why this will be a close game. This could get close to the 74 O/U, but feel it stays under.I think Oregon does all of its scoring in the first half and goes to the locker room leading, but I think AU
does its share of scoring as well in the first two quarters keeping it close. AU has demonstrated the ability to make significant adjustments at the half and I predict them limiting the OU offensive production then. Cam Newton deserves everything he gets, but that O line is rock solid and almost all seniors. The receivers and the tight end are above average and Dyer is a stud. The AU offense is talented and deep and can do anything it wants on offense. This is hugely problematic for defenses and that is why Cam is the X factor. Expend resources to stop the other weapons and there is nobody left to guard Cam. Just get it to 3rd and short, and convert every time. Keeps the Oregon O off the field, AU D fresh and move into scoring position. If AU gets 14 -17 ahead this puts real pressure on QB Thomas, who I think is the real star there, to pass. No rocket science, as this is practically everyone's formula, but AU has demonstrated the ability to execute this again and again. Since this is Covers, who cares who wins? Oregon will keep it close all the way until the very end, but AU covers 4 points when time expires. Total is 68-72.

I had been trying ti save judgement, but the SEC has complete teams!! Those fast lil dudes from Oregon will find out how bad those big fast dudes playing for Aurburn are? Those Corn bread fed boys playing for Auburn, and with Cam Newton youd think Tigers!

You could be right on your prediction, but I'd give the edge on off line to Oregon. The whole O line is experienced, and they are in great shape to run a hurry-up offense all game. Oregon has a small, fast D Line, and they are very deep, so not much of an edge to Auburn there.
