definitely top 20 all time since 2004 when I joined , we had some legendary cappers, he was probably the best acc guy consistently, he won much more than he lost during his run here
Yeah he was a good capper but he could not handle criticism very well. Kind of a mental midget in that aspect. I love when the bashers come in my threads........it doesn't bother me at all. Idiots are not going to run me away from these forums. We've all had bad runs and the complainers start bashing.......I just laugh at those kinds of losers who can't cap their own games yet have the nerve to be critical of others. It's just the world we live in unfortunately.
I'll never understand how thin-skinned people are in this forum. I'm not talking about Boom specifically, just in general. How people let other random, anonymous posters on the internet just affect them so deeply and easily is a mystery to me.
He usually make an appearance around bowl season. But Clemson HAS TO BE TOPNOTCH I find, for him to 'feel it' and post regularly. Before 2012- 2015, I don't know if that was the case

Its the crybabies who tail and lose and feel the need to rip other posters that provided great content to this site that causes us to lose the good ones. You know who you are; most of you are still here for some reason. This is why we lost great content providers like Boom and Bookie Assassin on this site. What has taken their place? A bunch of whiners who cry fixes every 10 minutes and other posters who pound their chests with their weekly "games of the year". Look at this thread for instance.....Boom's name gets mentioned and we couldnt even get to the 5th post of the thread without some kind of negativity. If I was Boom, I would stay away....most of you don't deserve his analysis. This site is not what is used to be and it is because of the whiners.
There was the thought a few yrs back, bookmakers are sending out bashers to attack good posters who use local bookmakers or bet online successfully and give FREE advice. I watched one of the greatest contributors and nicest guys on Covers get attacked brutally this weekend due to ONE freaking loss haha.
He's fine and has a strong back like many of us. Not that Boom doesn't, but wasting time with trolls makes golf, bocci ball, tinkering with an auto project, drinking beer with mates and other pursuits more attractive to do
I subscribe to the trojan horse release of bashers on here to muddle up things and should just ignore them given that fact....and that they may be trying to muddy up the pages on covers to bury good posters as well
One way to alleviate this for Covers as a tip might be to have Covers 1 thread of veterans with 5 yrs plus experience and a Covers 2 thread list with newer posters BUT, you can enter someone's thread to make a post in either level, but NOT muddy the waters on the list
many many years ago covers had a special forum designed for veterans where those bozo hecklers couldn’t even post, remember that ? that was the best idea they had, I forget what they called that, I don’t even remember the year but they allowed too much trash on here forever which is why most of the legends are gone, some of us just dealt with it but I can honestly say there were several years when I was on my run here that I just hated the nonsense, I won so much & the crazy rookies would pile on with any loss, it’s clearly not in everyone’s best interest to ban users so I get it
you either deal with the trash or leave, some of us came back after long breaks but most are gone
i had to change the way I post, I was traditionally the first guy up with plays on Sunday night with the good line grabs, I got so tired of hearing about my lines & how they weren’t real that I just started posting later & leaving out most of my better bets, that’s the only way I could last on here, otherwise it was deuces
I guess we all figure out how much we are willing to deal with stuff
I’d like posting threads to chat football so I’m here, the internet is a different place so I try to think of it as “not real life”

anyhow, Boom is a covers legend & I wish he was here but I certainly understand why most are gone

If you are a grown person and post picks/plays etc....and said picks dont win....why would you expect anything less than the worst of the worst humans on earth/this website to not bash you? Its clockwork. Its GOING to happen. So being upset when the inevitable happens is just silly.
