Packers====You are clueless, the Paterno sons supported O'Brien to the fullest, especially his son Scott. The Paterno people line is very long and some prominent figures have joined that line as well. People who support the truth to come out. People who supported Bill O'Brien until the very end, like myself, as i posted on here before. All the while u said O'Brien was a terrible hire, they should have hired Al Golden. The same Al Golden who's love for penn state and paterno is so deep he emulates his dress on the sidelines, if you have not noticed. When "Paterno" people knew O'Brien, the outsider was the best man for the job.

Do you know who Frank Fina is? He is the DA in the PSU admins trial. Do you know what he said, google it. "Joe Paterno after all of my research and investigation had nothing to do with a cover up of Jerry Sandusky, at all."

Which is the same the DA said in both the Franklin and Winston cases.

Did you see Jay Leno and Bob Costas laughing one evening that Paterno had anything do with a cover up? They said no chance.

Paterno being in hell as you suggest is not a fact, its an accusation or assumption on your part. The DA saying he had nothing to do with a cover up is a fact.

The Paterno comment pushing out O'Brien was made by David Jones of Penn Live. This guy is a resident Buckeye fan whom Paterno blasted many times in front of everyone at press conferences for having "dumb questions" as a young reporter.

You can move on from the old coach who should have been replaced years before he was imo, but you can also still care about the truth to come out and support the new coach with all your passion.

O'Brien fired a defensive coach in Ron Vanderlinden two weeks before he jumped ship, knowing he was jumping ship. RV was LB coach who coached the likes of Puz, Wake, Hali, Bowman, Lee and many other NFL Lbs. People wanted to know why the guy was let go after so many successful years of service. Not Paterno people, football fans of the program said why? Especially when O'Brien was leaving for the NFL.

Now that the Paternos have won the first phase of their lawsuit against Freeh and the NCAA they move on to a discovery phase. Which will force never before seen evidence to come out. Again google it, see what the judge had to say in that case about the guy you say is rotting in hell.

I am Penn State alum, I care about the truth. You are a walmart wolverine who has no clue of what you are talking about nor do i have any idea why you haven't moved on about this. I mean, at least I spent 6 years of my life in State College earning degrees. I have a valid reason to not just move on.

And if Penn State doesnt matter, why did Michigan even play them and lose to our 58 scholarship players this year? Because it matters? Why are the games lined? Why are there standings? I agree that he&#x27;ll probably jump to the NFL in the next few years if offered but Franklin is NOT a top 3 best coach in college football.  He&#x27;s a great recruiter and motivator but his playcalling left me shaking my head more times than I can count while at Vandy.  I&#x27;m obviously bitter but from an Xs and Os perspective, he is fairly average.
