Scal...writing mainly to say thanks. Longtime capper, mostly soccer, discovered this site a week ago, and discovered your picks a couple days after that. I do not tail anyone, but decided your thoughts matched my own. Lost on Cleveland and missed the StJ pick, but cashed here with you and would not have played it otherwise, so I appreciate your effort, and mainly your ability to lay out your thinking in a way that's comprehensible and, especially, honest. I get the feeling that if someone came on here and gave you an opposite take, you would think about it, which makes you somewhat unique.
As far as the game goes...I watched it in a bar full of UW supporters, and late in the 1st half the bar manager came up and was saying how dominant UW had been to that point. I found that interesting because, in fact, the two turnovers had been vital, and PSU had shown they could move the ball after the first series. Not saying the result was inevitable, but it was clear to me even in the first half that UW had been exposed.
The fact that neither team would make the playoff regardless was kind of added amusement. I suspect that the folks watching it in my bar didn't understand this at all.
In any case, thanks for the thoughtful capping. G

Penn St is rattled, fraud team who got some lucky breaks to beat Ohio st. Wisc lost by 7 to ohio st and Mich.. Penn st got beat by 30+ against Michigan. Frauds getting exposed tonight.
Now here is an exposure indeed. Of a poster. Of himself. Ripping his follower ticket up in the 2Q while acting like he's on the other side. Some people never learn.
