do not understand why Steele continues to be such a F'IN lightning rod around here.....

his magazines and website gotta be the NUMBER ONE resource for those that like to watch and wager on CFB....staggering amount of info for $8.95.......and should be used as a quick reference and information source only.....NOT for fast answers or picks .....WTF?
if his material has "failed you".....it is because you are a dumbazz.....and too lazy to put in the work yourself.....
his weekly write-ups in Power Sweep also the best  you will find...his FREE phone picks almost always hit over 60%.....365 days/year ! or so....(no reason to buy picks anyway)
       * usually his newsletter plays are great....but last few years he has been confused like many of us it seems

* Marc Lawrence also the #1 resource for technical info....and his Playbook.....a great reference tool........Stat Fox great also....

I know Steele's ex-son in law and I know a guy who works for Phil also.  Phil finds employees and they are usually relatives and their 1 and only job is to research conferences and that's it.  They read and read and read articles and stats, etc.  So are you paying for new info?  No.  You are paying for recycled stats that Phil just puts into nice paragraphs for you.  But don't take my word.  Follow him like a sheep for 1 season and let me know how it goes for you.

 Retire_early -  Services are going to continue to exist and make money, with or without you criticism. Thank God we stll live in a free market for most part and people can make there own choices about Northcoast,etc. If you want to attack people for hype, try looking at the general media and how they hype Warren Buffet and his stock picks, eventhough I dont think he has gotten returns of more then 14 or 15% in a while, they constantly hype him!
