Ok guys....it is like we have two sats right in a row....let's get off to a big day.

Biggest play of the day:

Ball state in a teaser -21.5 against miami Ohio.

This Miami O team is listless by the scoring less than 10 pts in an amazing 7 of 11 games and only 16 pts in their last 3 games including two at home.

This game has 47-3 written all over it.


Here are the plays:

Ball st -20 1h (early line)
Ball st -20.5 1h
ball state team total over 22.5 1h
Ball state team total gm ov 45
Miami ohio team total under 10.5 gm


Teaser plays:

Over 43.5 ball state
-20.5 ball state


I am all-in with ball state and this will be my biggest plays of the season with huge straight bets and ball state in every single teaser play today (I play 4 team, 13 pt teasers).

strongest plays in order of strength:

1) Ball state team total 1h
2) Ball state 1H -20.5/20.0
3) Ball state team total gm
4) Miami o under 10.5 (never know what fluke play could make a 47-7 lead into 47-14.....this is also why I am not play -35 for the game.

I love the over in the teaser and feel it is a very strong play as six teams have put up 40+ against this team.....only problem is it could easily be 41 or 42 to zero so 43.5 isn't a lock.....but as you see above I am confident they will break 45.....just too many mistakes by miami o and too much passing from such an explosive ball state team.....6 times this year ball has put up 40+.

My next play brings us to what should be a scoring fest in conference USA.

East carolina vs Marshall.

East carolina has scored 33, 55, 34, 58, 63, 42 in their last 6 games.  Their QB Carden is absolutely on fire this season with 32 TD passes.   It is important to note that they very quietly have the 20th ranked defense in the country.  This team is road tested going into hostile environment where folks thought they would slip up at NC state yet led by 20 before you could say Carden three times.

On the other side of the field is a dangerous marshall team.  Unfortunately, only the offense is dangerous, the defense is one of the worst in the country.  Sure they can win games 56-14 and keep UAB and s miss off the scoreboard......however, play at tulsa they were gashed by an offense that ranks 91st and gave up 34 pts.  Not to mention a visit to Midd Tenn where the 49 pts they scored was a loss.

In this game I have more faith in the O and D of east carolina than the home team.

Houston has had a difficult month playing at UCF, at Louisville and home to a decent Cincy team.  This month they are a perfect 0-3.  Even though they lost every game, it is important to note that even with the stiff competition against teams that are a combined 27-4, the defense kept them in every game allowing 19, 20 and 24 pts.  Today that stiff competition subsides a bit in the 5-5 SMU mustangs.  The mustangs are fresh off a game where they lost their starting QB in the second half of last week's game.  SMU brings in the 115th ranked pass defense which plays into the strength of Houston.  Coupled with the fact that SMU is allowing a gaudy 30+ pts the last few road games and this is a perfect spot for Houston to pad their record.

I look for SMU to have trouble moving the ball and playing very conservative early and Houston taking advantage of mistakes late.

Toledo vs Akron

I have to admit, even though I had N ILL I didn't know how bad Toledo was.  They couldn't pass the ball and actually had very little desire to pass the ball.  They looked completely lost on offense not knowing if they wanted to pass or run the ball or run the QB.  Pathetic effort.  The D got torched but that wasn't a surprise against N ILL one of the best teams offensively and difficult to stop/plan for. 

Luckily, Jordan Lynch is not on the other side of the field today.  Instead, you have the 105th ranked offense in akron.  Though they do have a much better D than N ILL does, the offense has scored 14 against umass, 24 at miami O, 3 against ohio and 16 against kent.  Those are some very scary numbers facing a potent offense in Toledo.....get down early they probably don't mount a comeback.

Why the under?

N ILL combined for 47 against this team.
7 games akron has scored 20 or less pts, 6 of them 17 pts or less.
Akron has the 57th ranked defense which bends but doesn't break.
66 is the high mark for combined pts on the year, against a much more explosive Ball st team.

Goscots56 -- it is only a 13 pt teaser I can play.....local guy bumps me up to 1.3 to win 1.0.

I play 300+ for 1-5u each....I have a few key games and can leave them open to fill later....5dimed offers this option too...though they don't have a copy and paste option lik an excel spreadsheet

I am most disappointed in the early going with Toledo.

Akron goes for it 4th and 3 from their own 16 and gets it then marches down the field effortlessly for a TD.

Not very impressed with Toledo......the defense is getting absolutely abused.

N ILL didn't even have that type of success against this team.

Massive play on East carolina over.

I think they score 50.

SMU won't score 10 and they could be shut out.
