UNI could be looking to cycle down a bit.....they always play the Iowa FBS teams tough, but that showing vs Illinois St in the FCS playoffs last year was a regression type of a showing; QB play could be a problem this season.
Agreed the Iowa game is a coinflip, but I don't have much respect at all for Ferentz in these matchups; the Hawkeyes seemingly dump to ISU on a regular basis, but the QB situation will be key in that one for Iowa.
I hear you on the @ Toledo matchup.....that game has the makings of being a track meet, and ISU should be able to trade baskets.
Kansas in Ames is in ISU's wheel house....2 subpar squads in a crapfest. New HC Beaty for KU this season could breathe in some life, but that week 1 matchup vs South Dakota St could be rough intro to the HC ranks...that team is game; had NDSU on the ropes in Fargo last season in the FCS playoffs.
All in all, I don't recommend betting the ranch by any stretch, but ISU has a great shot of getting 3 of the first 4.

I think Florida St takes a big step back this season .. He likely will continue to turn the ball over ...Odds makers agree with the Win total Under 9.5 -120
MY Choices right now would be one of these or a few
Boykin +825
Chubb +1200 want 20-1
J Johnson 28-1 Auburn actually close to this one , have the Tigers going 11-1 and JJ putting up monster stats
Seth Russell 43-1 want 60-1
Corey Clement 55-1 Not sure , since Gordon could not win
BEST OF HEALTH, HAPPINESS,WEALTH, BLESSINGS and LUCK TO ALL !!

If anything If you think the Noles will repeat and or get to the Playoff.... I think the Running game would be what would get them there ... Dalvin Cook is 45-1
